  1. Looks like hitters are just sitting on Maples' slider.
  2. It terrifies me to think of Quintana pitching in playoff games. I would much rather have Montgomery for 4-5 innings
  3. I wouldn't classify Strop as "very likely" done for the playoffs. I won't be suprised at all if he is back for the NLDS.
  4. If only there were some indication that Morrow would be injury prone...
  5. Sucks for Kyle with 1 out to go, but I think it was the right thing to do.
  6. Why does the broadcast sound like there is a cricket in my TV?
  7. No sense extending Hendricks here. Finish off the 8th and call it a night.
  8. Just saw it in the dugout. You weren't kidding.
  9. It's all those late nights spent painstakingly signing and packaging up scorecards catching up to him.
  10. Nice shot of straight-faced Cubs fan singing "This is how we do it."
  11. I'm waiting for the inevitable pulled hamstring due to unnecessary hustle.
  12. If by big inning, you mean "score a run," I'm all for it.
  13. Asking for a friend - Do other teams hit home runs anymore? Or is it only the Cubs trying to bring back the dead ball era? Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  14. De La Rosa got the save... Now let's agree to never do that again.
  15. I am listening in the car and can't wrap my head around the chain of events that led to Terrence Gore as a defensive replacement. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  16. I was just wondering the same thing. While it may very well be justified, it sure seems like people use that excuse a lot for the Cubs. Does being tired really cause an entire team to not be able to hit? And do other teams attribute all their failures to having to play too many games? Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
