  1. I knew it! We stole the Brewers' manager, now Brewer Fanatic is stealing our bandwidth.
  2. This has been ongoing for me as well. Desktop loads fine, but my phone is awfully slow to load. It makes no difference whether I'm on wifi or mobile data.
  3. That is linking to a college football article for me. Possible ESPN jumped the gun and they took the article down?
  4. Oh, so he is guilty then? Yes, the actions described in the affidavit are disgusting, but there are so many potential holes in what was shared there. With no apparent witnesses or evidence whatsoever, I don't see how this case possibly holds up. I don't know whether Shannon did it or not, but I do know there better be more evidence than this if they really intend to take this to trial.
  5. I'm no lawyer, but this looks like complete BS. No video, no witnesses, no physical evidence. Shannon was identified after the fact through web searches. How could this possibly be enough to charge someone with any crime, let alone felony rape?
  6. We already know that isn't the case, unless everyone from ownership on down is repeatedly lying about their approach to the luxury tax.
  7. Because presumably they like one better than the other, in which case I'm not opposed to making sure they get the specific guy they want and not whoever is left.
  8. If Atlanta is interested in him, I think their 3rd and a flip of the 8/9 picks in the first round would do it.
  9. Well, the defense picked the play so what can you do?
  10. I don't think this is the way the Bears will or should go, but is it possible they: - Stick with Eberflus for next year - Stick with Fields for next year and give him one more chance with some more weapons - Trade down from the #1 pick for more assets including more picks this year and at least another 1st next year. All this with the understanding that, if the Bears aren't good again next year, they will be picking fairly high in the draft again, plus they will likely have another high pick from whatever team they traded with. So, if the team flops again next season, you can clean the coaching slate completely and use the multiple 1st round picks as ammunition to go up and grab a QB going into the 2025 season. I don't love that idea, and I think we have seen enough of Fields to suggest it is time to move on, but I guess it really comes down to what they think of Caleb Williams. If they aren't completely sold on him, and still have SOME level of confidence that Fields can improve, is it completely crazy to try this one more time with some additional improvements on offense and kick the can down the road on a QB decision?
  11. When DJ Moore was asked after the game whether the Bears need a new coordinator, his response was: "Ummmmmm...." *Pause* "I think it's fine" That says it all.
  12. I really wanted to be ok with Fields going forward so the Bears could draft MHJ and accumulate more assets, but that ship has sailed. It is QB or bust at this point. MAYBE they like another QB who would be available at or near 9 and they can still deal back from the #1, but I would think that is unlikely.
  13. I still agree with what he said. By the letter of the rules, it might not be a penalty... but it is almost always called one.
  14. I don't think that's a catch.
  15. There is no way Justin Fields sees that to make that throw.
  16. Mark Buehrle is working quickly today.
  17. Why didn't they snap the ball there? Down by 8 maybe don't run out the clock.
  18. Tevon Jenkins has been really good for most of the season, but every time they have showed him today he is either getting beat or not blocking anyone at all.
  19. What a huge mistake just to try to get a couple extra yards.
  20. Two plays and in field goal range. Defense is getting carved up.
  21. Gonna play an entire half of football in less than an hour. Rob Manfred would be proud.
  22. "That is a perfectly thrown ball. Maybe a little lower would have been perfect." OK, so it wasn't perfect.
  23. Timely praise for Getsy, leading up to a complete blow-up of a playcall.
  24. Knowing that the Bears are actually a better team.
