Looked to me like he went in to try to stop the fight from getting out of hand, he had the "break it up" signal going with his hands and Brian Andersen sucker punched him. He had absolutely no right to do that. Apparently Mabry was unavailable for comment after the game because he was at the emergency room getting x-rays done on his ribs. Awesome.
