And Mabry singles to start the inning. Which he could have done as a PH. I don't have a problem with Dusty playing Jock and I don't complain when he's in the line-up.

Every time I watch Dusty use another useless double switch I come that much closer to wanting to see the DH in the National League.

Most outfielders would have caught the ball to RF which would have made the out to Pierre the 3rd in the inning. But a run would have score on the first flyout either way One run down is better than three runs down. Plus THERE WAS NO FREAKIN' REASON to double switch because Dusty wasn't going to use Howry after this inning.

How so? He got two fly ball outs. It's not his fault The Village Idiot took out a better fielder in RF. Howry gets out of that inning with, at worst, one run scoring if Jones stays in the game.

There is NO GD REASON to double switch there. Everbody in the park knows Dusty won't use Howry for more than one inning anyway. And the third walk scores too. 6-3 now. Quality work today Dusty, quality work. With no double switch they at worst get out of the inning with one run scoring. Idiot.
