Much like the Brewers the last few years, if the Reds played as hard against the rest of the league as they do against the Cubs, they'd win the division. Why won't our pitchers knock guys off the plate?

Got a question for those of you listening to WGN on the radio. Early in the game they came back from break and Pat talked about the bumper music being a Steely Dan song. I'm listening to WGN on XM and the music was definitely a Jimmy Buffett song. Is XM using different bumper music or was Pat just way, way off? Six pitch inning.

I was actually at that game. I remember the crowd initially started laughing because it was so bad, then started booing because they realized it wasn't a joke. Well, it was a joke, but not a funny one. I was there too. It was my first game in Wrigley in like five years. No one will ever be worse than Ozzy. Ditka sounds like Pavoratti by comparison.

Why? Just because they're lifting the ball on a day they're supposed to? :roll: No. Because they're too comfortable at the plate. I don't mean hit a guy, I mean back them off the plate. Establish the inside corner.
