  1. That's probably why the stadium radar gun has been turned off. It's an away ST game.
  2. MLB.com has just been remarkably, pathetically bad at letting subscribers & potential subscribers know what the heck is going on. You have to scrounge around to find a broadcast schedule and even then you can't be certain that the schedule is accurate. So is it on MLB.TV or not? Do you subscribe? Then you can tell me! :) It wasn't on the MLB.tv schedule before today and neither the Cubs or the Mariners are broadcasting it, so I don't think it is. I suppose they could try something new and set up webcams or something to stream it ... which would be the first I've heard of MLB doing that. I don't get a paycheck from MLB, though, so I'm guaranteein' nuthin'!

  4. Thanks, Bruce! Seems like Lou is definitely giving opportunities to the borderline guys, which may help down the road even though the roster heading into the season seems close to set. And Raisin has a snazzy new sig!

  6. The starters are in the title, I'll add them to the post, too.
  7. The broadcast will also be available via Gameday Audio and on KOMO radio in Seattle. Mark Prior is starting for the Cubs. Ted Lilly and Kerry Wood are also scheduled to pitch. http://chicago.cubs.mlb.com/images/2007/03/02/hUsvCQYy.jpg RH Mark Prior, 26 yo 2006: 43.2 IPs, 7.21 ERA, 1-6, 38K-28BB vs http://seattle.mariners.mlb.com/images/2007/03/02/GOa3stmo.jpg RH Miguel Batista, 36 yo 2006: 206.1 IPs, 4.58 ERA, 11-8, 110K-84BB Miguel Batista is starting for the Mariners. From the Mariners mlb.com site: Right-hander Brandon Morrow -- the fifth overall pick last June and the only member of last year's draft class in the Major League camp -- makes his first Cactus League appearance on Monday against the Cubs. He is slated to pitch the eighth inning. ETA: Thanks, Bruce!
  8. You got my hopes up. :( Sorry, Raisin. All those left coast cities look the same on the map.
  9. What's the station? Every radio station is listed in the broadcast sticky on the top of the page and I think it's in the first post, too.
  10. They said the baseball broadcast would continue on the other station in the LA area, but Gameday isn't switching the feed.
  11. Good to know. They responded to my scheduling question but not the question about the late start times. ETA: The only other XM game with a late start time is tomorrow's game vs the White Sox, which is also on WGN TV & Radio.
  12. It's a delayed broadcast is scheduled to start at @ 3:05 CT. Tomorrow's XM broadcast is the same setup.
  13. It's the same thing for tomorrow's game vs. the White Sox on XM. It's either a listing error or they'll have a delayed broadcast due to scheduling conflicts. Won't know until 2:05.
  14. Wow, that's great!
  15. Hey Laura. Could you tell me where the archived broadcast is? Ofcourse if you are using mlb.tv then it doesn't matter. I went to the MLB Scoreboard page and clicked on Audio -- it will pull up the archived broadcast as well. You can move the cursor at the bottom of the media player to advance the broadcast; you just have to guesstimate to find whatever portion of the game you want to hear.
  16. You can listen to most XM channels online (and some exclusive online XM channels), but their agreement with MLB doesn't allow them to stream the MLB game broadcasts.
  17. I had emailed XM a few days ago about whether they were going to pick up some of the games that are being broadcast but aren't on the XM schedule -- like today's game vs the Angels. Here's the reply for people who were wondering what the XM policy is: The link for the schedule is the following: http://www.xmradio.com/schedule/sport/get_mlb_schedule.jsp We carry non-split-squad games that are available from the home team flagship stations. If a particular game is not carried on XM, it’s usually because it’s a spit-squad game or the flagship station is not carrying the game themselves.
  18. You can just PM him here. If you pay by paypal, there's a Notes section where you can also enter your username.
  19. Thanks! I'm actually listening to a little bit of the archived broadcast ... yeah, the sound quality is all over the place.
  20. Yay for Murt & EPatt!! I'm bummed I had to miss Gallagher, but sounds like he pitched well. Did the Angels broadcasters say anything about Guzman's or Gallagher's pitches?
  21. The broadcast schedule is on the list in the sticky above. XM says their broadcast policy is to carry spring training games when there is a home team broadcast on the team's flagship station and if it's not a split squad game. Since WGN isn't broadcasting this game, it's not being carried.
