    Hi, Matt, and thanks for answering our questions! Hey, your senior year in high school, you hit .365 in 74 at-bats and are listed in the IHSA stats as a P-3B. You also tripled (standing or sliding?). :) Do you steal some batting practice time to keep your swing tuned up? Are you looking forward to getting to a non-DH league? Who's the best hitting pitcher on the Chiefs? Do you share hitting techniques with your teammates? :) Congrats on your walkless streak -- Nathan says it's the new Chiefs record -- and your great season -- and good luck!

    I have no idea. All I was told was he had a left arm injury and wouldn't be coming back this season. I'll ask Matt Johnson our trainer on Wednesday. And you are right about guys playing out of position. We haven't had a first baseman since mid-June, our 3rd basemen (larsen/granato) have been playing 1st or left and with Harvey out for a while our DH (flowers) has been in the outfield. Its a testament to Julio as a manager that we are still even in this race... Thanks for checking! It's been interesting to see the players get shifted around defensively.

    People aren't as eager to chime in when the Cubs are losing a lot. Had to happen sooner or later. Cubs needed to score more runs earlier.

    If Brandon gets the record setting #26 tonight that will be extremely impressive. Agreed. Ugh, Pinto gets in a bases loaded jam and the fly ball with 2 outs gets misplayed in the wind. 2-0 Braves. Who misplayed it? I can't fire up the broadcast for another 20 minutes or so ... though if it's raining, that might not matter.
