  1. So far, everything has come up the left side. I'd like to see more action through Bradley and Dempsey. Less long balls.
  2. Inch perfect from Boca to Ching, inch perfect header from Ching to Landon in stride, Landon brings it down with his chest, fires a cross through the box and Jozy pounds it in.
  3. GREATNESS JOZY From an excellent play by Landon
  4. Beasley has the touch of a drunk grizzly bear.
  5. Why can't we freakin keep it on the carpet?
  6. This is a very un-Bob lineup. I like the effort. I would play Landon removed from Jozy and put El Gringo on the left, but hey this is ok.
  7. I'm concerned about this game because the Blues appear to be the pioneers of figuring out how to beat the Hawks this year. A tenacious 2-1-2 forecheck. That led to the first goal last night because our (supposedly) best defenseman couldn't handle the pressure. Other teams, notably in the last two games, have caught on and are having the same success. The only reason the Blues weren't blowing out the Hawks earlier in the year was because they couldn't bury the biscuit. They aren't having that problem right now. And needless to say, fellas better keep their heads up when #74 is on the ice. St. Louis is playing really well right now. The Hawks need to jump out to a 2-0 lead in this game. If they fall behind early, the way things are going, it'll be over. #74 = Oshie, right? Yes. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PIIpCbE1VCc http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mwDgk4ooXIc Haha, Rick Nash. I love me some Oshie. That Oshie-Toews-Duncan line at ND State was killer. Two future captains for their teams and possibly their national teams on the same college line.
  8. I'm ready to finally admit this, and believe me it isn't easy. I was sitting here tonight, thinking about LeBron. I do that sometimes; think about LeBron. LeBron can and very likely will surpass Jordan. Barring injury or other unnatural circumstance, there is nothing Jordan could do that this man can't and more. Every team in the East and maybe the whole league is now in NBA purgatory. Ain't nobody winning a title without an LeBron injury or some unholy player pairing like Wade and Howard joining forces. League over, go home.
  9. Ready your plastic, new kits are coming.
  10. This is a bad, bad thing for soccer fans. Setanta isn't everywhere yet, and I'm not all that impressed with FSC's coverage of anything but the EPL, really. What does this mean for Derek Rae? Are we really going to have to listen to Max Bretos over pronounce every name or listen to Christopher Sullivan call Inter "Milan" and Man U "Manchester?"
  11. FSC outbid ESPN for the Champions League next year, which means no HD broadcasts. F.
  12. http://www.replacementlevel.com/index.php/RLYW/direct/2009_diamond_mind_projection_blowout_cairo_edition http://www.replacementlevel.com/stuff/sg/DMBProjections/2009/overall/NLCentralPie.jpg Sorry, Jake.
  13. If you're the kind of guy who likes to get in early on band wagons, get in on Freddy Montero last week. A brace and an assist in game one. This goal last weekend: http://www.mlsnet.com/quickkicks/index.jsp?page=index&c=QuickKicks&p=501196&s=5016067&i=530781 He is like Landon only with balls and flair.
  14. I know things are bad at left back when I see that Bob called in Johnny Bornstein and I'm hoping he starts.
  15. In the midst of all the very valid gripes in this thread, I'd like to add in the fact that MLS played a full schedule this weekend. OBSERVE THE INTERNATIONAL BREAKS.
  16. I hate road qualifying so much. Crappy team fucks around all game and gets a result.
  17. Torres and Altidore earned a start Wednesday. Torres has been way more composed in the midfield than Kljestan and Beasley.
  18. Mikey got a nice elbow in on that corner too. Hey El Salvador, great idea letting all of your best players leave with fake injuries.
  19. FRANKIE! REDEMPTION
  20. By the way, I'm fine with this crap because all they are doing is bringing their second class players in to hold a lead against a far superior team. As I type, another El Salvadoran goes down.
  21. Stretcher number three as Bob Bradley looks on in disgust.
  22. So far judging by this half, the Beasley to left back experiment isn't a good idea.
  23. Two vaginas are down on the field. I like how they don't even send their trainer out.
  24. Aaaand vagina number two goes off on a stretcher. We better get 6+ minutes of stoppage.
  25. JOZY WITH THE HEADER THEN SPITS IN THE BOX
