  1. He's playing games. He isn't dumb. He knows the hypocrisy of it, he just doesn't care. He's doing it on purpose, for a reason. He's hoping there are people like you on the other team who will get all worked up and make a mistake or melt down.
  2. ESPN Radio 1000 said this morning that the Celtics would have been able to pick the FT shooter, not the Bulls. Only if Brad was unable to shoot, which he was. So basically, Brad would've gotten his two and then we would have gotten the ball back. Who knows if he would have made the first with decreased pressure.
  3. All I Need To Know I Learned From The Boston Celtics.
  4. Just because the guy was black doesn't mean you get to call him Hershey. Plus his name is Hersey. Know your Bradley legends, son.
  5. Aww, Downtown! You're better than this!

  7. I'm not saying Derrick played well last night. I'm saying that the team he plays on is so flawed that his problems are way down on the list of contributing factors to why they are bad. When he or Ben play like super men, people think the Bulls are all of a sudden good. They aren't. They're seriously flawed. You can't hold them to any standard until you get a better coach, better system, better players and more consistent performances.
  8. It was a team effort. And the refs didn't help. He's the PG. There is no team offense without him besides Salmons and Gordon isolations. I'm not mad at him or anything, he's a rookie. It's clear he's confused by what Boston's doing to him defensively. He can't get the dribble drive going and they're not far enough off of him where he's comfortable making jumpers. I did think we didn't do enough pick and roll though. This is an awful, awful post. Derrick Rose dribble drives and then looks to do what every good point guard looks to do when they can't finish which is kick it out to the open man. Unfortunately no one on his team gets open with a man shadowing Gordon at all times and everyone else running around like a bunch of 5 year olds looking forward to an All Sport after the game in their Biddy basketball league. The team has no defensive cohesiveness, takes terrible shots, doesn't get open, doesn't move the ball in the half court set up, is clumsy, is small and very very little of that falls on Derrick Rose's shoulders. This is a bad team with a few individuals who can pull games out of the fire and give people who don't know what they are watching a false sense of faith in the quality of the team. It's pathetic coaching, a weird mix of the roster, unorganized offense and terrible, terrible defense.
  9. Well he's basically a basketball player.
  10. God damn, Guus knows how to prepare a team for any situation. It's unbelievable. I'd kill for him to coach the MNT.
  11. Chills man...chills.
  12. The thing about this Hornets thing is that it just reinforces the fact that it's nearly impossible to dominate the NBA as a point guard. We can't do what Cleveland or Orlando can do and just put bodies around our star. We're still going to need a gm that knows how to build a contender.
  13. Now that I've watched him week in and week out, I'm over him. His strengths are motivation, his weaknesses are man-management and tactics. For the US, man-management and tactics are much more important.
  14. Hangeland or Lampard would have been very deserving. Hangeland has made a giant difference in Fulham's performace this season. Klinsmann was sacked today by Bayern, btw. I agree. The 27 year old, prime of his career in next year's world cup, centre back FROM HOUSTON, TEXAS is having an outstanding year and could quite possibly move to a big club after his stellar performances this season.
  15. He may have already hit the floor of the canyon.
  16. Speaking of Mort. It's become clearer and clearer that he is getting lapped by the younger guys in the business. He had nothing to add to the draft discussion. The draft isn't usually his strength, is it? He's normally more of a guy who uses his connections for roster moves during the season (scooping trades, signings, who's hurt, etc.). Even then, Jay Glazer and Adam Schefter break way more news.
  17. Frank Lampard.
  18. Worse than gold gloves? http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=641040&sec=england&cc=5901 What a joke. Cletus strike -
  19. Fool, ain't no such thing as a Premiership Championship game. The point stands nonetheless. Foreign Super Bowl would be dumb.
  20. I'll defer to Spags on the scouting for this one. I'm just happy with an MLB.
  21. Don't forget whitey. Kevin Curtis ran a 4.3 out of Utah State or wherever it was the Rams drafted him. They are going to burn some teams off the field. All those guys are a little fragile though.
  22. Source? It's not on Bayern's site or Soccernet. haha, I clicked on the link on soccernet about the NFL stadiums being the main target for the WC in 2018 or 22, and in that it had the link for Klinsmann. Of course I didn't realize see it was from 2006, and thats why they didn't mention much of anything. Strange that was attached to a new article. This is what I get for screwing around at work today. Well then I happen upon this at Du Nord this morning:
  23. Source? It's not on Bayern's site or Soccernet.
  24. I must say he is way higher on the Bulls than I am. Especially Thomas and Noah. I think I'd probably be higher on them if Vinny wasn't there. Vinny brings down my whole tone on the Bulls.
