  1. len: the knock socks i like the old school look, hopefully it will bring him some hits tonight
  2. what are the controversial remarks that larussa made?
  3. much awesomeness in that report
  4. please sign me up!
  5. include Soto. not saying he should be dealt, but he's the obvious high-value rookie type if you're making lists.
  6. if bad drafts keep happening, they keep hurting the cubs.
  7. if they take the coaching time to focus on pitch selection and opposing batters, this might work out ok in the short term. there's no doubt in my mind that he's a starter long-term. from what lou was saying, if gallagher had stayed in the rotation, he'd get pushed back and bumped a lot. young starters need to pitch, they don't need to sit for 9 or 10 days then throw a career high number of pitches. so while I don't like the move, I like it better than him starting inconsistently.
  8. what an [expletive] is miklasz. go jimmy
  9. figured that with his start today and marmol's appearance.
  10. thanks. did marmol's velocity seem to be ok? sorry, just got in and didn't see him pitching.
  11. It's plausible. what did he say about it?
  12. gallagher to the bullpen, which was likely to happen anyway with lou's fascination with tinkering with the rotation. sharpen up his pitch selection and limit him to short relief, he'll be more successful than he was in long relief.
  13. gallagher threw 120 his last outing. he wasn't going to go long tonight.
  14. i love the brewers bullpen
