  1. They're walking wounded right now, they have to survive this stretch and go from there. Johnson, Edmonds, Fukudome, and Soriano all injured in the OF. Of course the defense is going to be terrible. it's also a tough stretch on paper, through the st louis series. eases up a little after that and our guys should be coming back.
  2. fortunately the injured guys should be back soon
  3. has eric patterson allowed more runs than he's driven in yet?
  4. really need more production out of dlee than he's giving
  5. yes, I was responding to the post above mine. but lou having the best record didn't get him the invite. willie randolph getting fired got him the invite.
  6. don't we want the nl to win?
  7. rothschild seems to be pitching coach for life.
  8. remlinger broke his finger trying to adjust a recliner
  9. they're missing 2.5 / 3 OFers and their number 1 pitcher. the results aren't pretty. at least fukudome should be back this weekend
  10. the team is hurting with all the injuries. the lineup is weak and z is missed. some of the holes will be plugged soon with guys returning from injury.
  11. when i watched the game last night the other night, they were talking about theriot's gidp rate as a reason for moving him down in the lineup
  12. yeah the all second base lineup isn't ideal
  13. http://www.myvideomusicmp3.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/02/julianne-hough-2.jpg RUNS?
  14. marshall is auditioning for two jobs, trade bait and rotation spot when z returns
  15. Gallagher goes Friday. It's a good way to keep his innings number slightly down to move him back a couple days in certain situations like this. He's still very young. It's not great to have him throwing too many innings, and the Cubs may need him to stay in the rotation the rest of the year. I'm hoping those two can keep it rolling the next two days. They really have been pitching well in June. where did you hear this was the reason? and if it was, why was he available in the bullpen? not so sure about this strategy of skipping him and moving him back on a continuous basis.
  16. marquis lost his mojo again the end of the all-second base lineup can't happen soon enough
  17. i updated my ignore lists, it helps when people don't quote him.
  18. dempster has been consistent on the road, gallagher has a 3.32 era in june - includes 3 road starts, including 2 al park starts, and marshall ran into some bad luck in his last start.
