Cardinals to Use Reyes in the Pen

I find it interesting because apparently Duncan and Reyes are at odds over what kind of pitcher he should be. Duncan likes his pitchers to be more groundball oriented, and Reyes views himself as a "strikeou" pitcher. Not to mention, Duncan apparently didn't want Reyes on the roster, and the Cards FO is force feeding Reyes to Duncan. Reyes inclusion on the roster, has cause some tension in that org. That's why I find it interesting. My guess is...Reyes doesn't finish the yr in St. Louis. the interesting thing is thst the duncan/reyes issue has been going on for a really long time and they havent traded him yet. -
I'm just hoping he stays healthy. I got great value on him in my fantasy draft (18th Round). Apparently no one else in my league got the memo that he is good at baseball. Why the heck did you pass on him in the 17th round? Yeah I took him in the 10th round of mine, maybe a reach. But it's a 10 team league that starts 14 position players. I've been blown away since the first game I saw him, add that to the fact he's hitting in that sandbox and it's a no-brainer imo. 11th for me. Better than guys like bonderman, ocab, griffey etc that went just after him.

With 5 bench spots, you should hang on to Bonds for the next couple months. I have him in my 5 bench spot 12 team league. Towles probably isn't worth it to keep on the bench in a 10 team league, but its a toss up. Hes not going to be a Russell Martin by any means, and the catching position is relatively deep this year so in a one catcher 10 team league no one is going to be salivating to trade for him. But if you are cool with it, he wouldn't be a bad use of a bench spot for a couple months either. Also, 5 closers is overkill, even in a 10 team league. See if you can trade Wood (especially if you are in a league with cubs fans). What is your IP situation?

Thread on thoughts of some back end guys for your rotation. Right now I've got Garza, Volquez, Wakefield and Parra. I've got a waiver claim on Cueto for Wakefield. Two guys I've had my eye on had good days today, Villanueva and Marcum. Are they worth it to pick up over some of the other high reward guys? Who do you guys like for the back end of the rotation? I've got my eye on Duchscherer and Wolf also.

Is it a keeper league? If hes a keeper then you gotta stick with him. If not, then you must have drafted him for a reason. Based on his attitude last year and this offseason (cards fans can correct me if I'm wrong here) I'd be worried about him giving up on the season if the cards are decently out of it a few months in and opting for season ending surgery.

Right now it's barely raining here, but humid as all hell. Just wait a few minutes. I'm across the street from the Hancock and its slightly more than a drizzle. I was out this morning with a long sleeve t-shirt and a windbreaker and I was a bit hot.
