Talent alone Mack is worth the hype, but there was a reason why USCe didn't fight to keep the young man. USCe doesn't produce a ton of in-state premium talent and they don't always land said in-state talent, so for them to bid farewell for a talent like Mack is quite telling. And it was confirm by a couple of USCe friends of mine that Mack has both character and weight issues. So since Auburn doesn't have a problem with taking young players with character issues (ie Rollison, Newton), them landing Mack isn't a surprise. I'm confused, Redflash. Per my understanding, South Carolina didn't rescind their scholarhip offer. Mack decommitted and then committed to Auburn...Mack very well may have overeating tendencies and character issues as you describe. However, I'm left thinking your USCe friends may be dining on sour grapes.
