    I guess loyalty to the only franchise he's ever played for doesn't count for anything? The O's, long term, probably are better off trading Roberts now but they still have to field a team and they still have to sell tickets. There asking price is high because Roberts is a very popular player and O's have aren't far enough removed from the glory days of Cal Ripken to embrace rebuilding. They should be but they aren't. Loyalty schmoyalty, that franchise is a complete disastor, and have shown no signs of turning things around. If you have the chance, you should want to go to a contender, unless of course, you enjoy that extra month off. They're at least pretty set at the Catcher spot for a long time.

    Eh I wasn't trying to say it isn't impressive at all, I am just not wowed by it. Chipper has had 2 streaks of at least 4 years. Manny has had a 12 year 900+ streak. Thome, 10. Helton, 8. Vlad, 10. Berkman, 7. Utley has a current 4 year streak going. ARod had a 6 year streak. Most of these guys are hall of famers I suppose, so it isn't really fair to compare Aramis to them, but 4 just isn't quite up there with the elite hitters of this era.

    PM me if you are interested in joining a sim league (not fantasy) Quick rundown: *Same divisional/league structure and schedule as MLB *Payroll, Free agency, amateur drafting, arbitration *50 roster spots (25 active/20 inactive(minor leaguers)/5 draftees(which need to be incorporated into your base 45 every offseason) *simulations done on Diamond Mind, using the projection(not the season) disk *Just completed our 5th season

    This is not a big deal, but it makes me want to pull my hair out. Why why why do people insist on listing Zambrano first every time they make a list of the starters!!!??!

    When I realized it was the Bulls opening night about 2 minutes ago I got pretty excited, let me tell you. Then about 1 minute ago I realized I wouldn't get to watch the game. The rollercoaster of life.

    I know that rotation order is pretty meaningless, and this isn't necessarily directed at you specifically, but why do people also put Zambrano as the "number 1" starter. Peavy is definitely better than him, and Harden is most likely better than him. Against this isn't a big deal but people always list our rotation starting with Z.

    If i had the choice between a dead when i was 20 dad who was a famous Cub or a normal alive dad, I would totally pick Ernie Banks every single time.
