Could be. This really comes down to whether you think McDermott is Chandler Parsons. I for one think he could be. I also would point out that a lot of teams passed on Harris. I don't get why, but they did.

Agree and disagree. First, he's a much better scorer than Dunleavy was at the same point in his career. Moreover, Dunleavy is almost guaranteed to be traded. Mirotic isn't in any way guaranteed to be here, but even if he is you literally cannot have enough scoring wings in today's game. Agree that Afflao would have been a very good pick-up.

I've been sitting here trying to figure out why the Sixers made that trade and I can't. I get that they drafted Payton to trade him (they have MCW), but why Saric? They desperately need a wing. EDIT: Looks like they get their pick back in 15' from Magic. Should be a lottery pick. That makes more sense.

Saves money and fills need. If you are able to acquire Melo you have added a superstar scorer and scoring 6th man in one offseason.
