He has an entirely different skill set from boozer and is a better compliment to Rose and Melo. He has an outside game, is a better passer and shot blocker, and is still a decent enough rebounder (Boozer is a bit better overall). Moreover, he is clearly not declining as fast as Boozer and therefore can be easily traded next offseason due to his expiring contract (reports are that he is getting a two year deal).
