  1. I had no idea that Thibs' mom posts here.
  2. You must have missed my earlier post where I showed his PER's over the last two years. You should also look up his TS% and TOV%. He sucks.
  3. Thibs isn't Dusty, but that doesn't mean he isn't completely wrong about Hinrich. He is.
  4. Oh dear....Dusty Thibodeau Yup. This is exactly what I was bitching about earlier in the thread. Their love for Hinrich is completely irrational.
  5. All I said was that he is quicker than I thought. I didn't comp him to anyone. I'm not sure how that will translate, and neither are you.
  6. How does his leaping compare to Adam Morrison or Wally Szerbiak? So how does he compare to other white guys? Shouldn't we be more concerned about how he compares to current players?
  7. He's a quicker leaper than I thought. Not easy to get up to block two shots like that.
  8. If Beal improves they could win the East. Nene is a beast down low and they have a ton of flexibility at the wing positions. If Beal becomes a reliable shooter to pair with Wall they become very difficult to defend. Ariza is gone to Houston. I don't consider them in the running (not because of Ariza even with him they aren't good enough). They might win 45 games again but that's it. And Charlotte while being decent and potentially a few games over .500 is no where near capable of winning 3 playoff series. Kemba will lose a game by himself every playoff series in Brandon Jennings-like blaze of 2-20 glory. Big Al is still basically the entire team and he was on fumes in the playoffs last year. Stephenson was just an ok offensive player playing alongside a premier offensive wing. Gilchrist is not going attract the attention of a George. An kemba is just looking to get his. Neither of these teams are better than brooklyn or Toronto and would bet neither wins a playoff series next year. I dunno. I bet Brooklyn is lucky to win 40 games this year.

  10. The key to sustained success in the NHL, IMO, is to draft well and make smart, sell-high trades. For example, selling Bollig while you still could was very smart (though one wonders why they gave him a multi-year deal in the first place). If someone - anyone - wants Bickell or Versteeg, you do it. And I completely agree re Sharp. He's on the wrong side of 30 with a high cap hit. Don't expect an exciting return. Probably a 1st and 4th, or something like that.
  11. At this rate he should be at Wrigley by September.
  12. It looks like a balk.
  13. They should just let Buck select the MVP. He knows all.
  14. Reynolds brought up the Wainwright-Kershaw thing again; Buck made clear he was sick of talking about it. The Fuc...I mean Buck has spoken.
  15. Meph's real legacy is JR Towles.
  16. Ha ha, Wainwright is getting lit.
  17. Happy trails, Booz. Hope you catch on somewhere good. Maybe mentoring Randle in LA? Depth in OKC?
  18. You will certainly get your wish if they don't finish in the Top 15 this season.
  19. I don't know that Tucker is a clown based on what we saw last year. Our d-linemen were barely roster-level players and were on roller skates most of the season. I'm not sure that is his fault.
  20. I doubt either of those things are true, unless I'm missing some spat/beef between Thibs and Pierce that I had never heard of. Pierce isn't known for his conditioning.
  21. Chalmers Wade Deng Bosh McRoberts Granger Nappier Etc.
  22. I doubt Paul Pierce wanted to come to Chicago and play for Thibs, and I doubt Gar/Pax/Thibs wanted him.
  23. Re-signing Hinrich is beyond stupid. I love the McDermott, Miritoc and Gasol moves. Those are the kinds of things smart org's like San Antonio do. But the Hinrich deal makes absolutely no sense . He is a horrendous player at this point in his career, and he was just above average in his prime . He can't shoot anymore and is easily overmatched by bigger guards. So you gave him a 2 yr deal ?! There is an exceptionally large number of better backup PG ' s we could have had at the same price, including Augustin. This is the sort of thing left over from the Skiles era that really , really pisses me off .
  24. Justin Ruggiano retweeted you 2h: @justinruggiano Was it you or Coghlan who half-assed the hell out of a double yesterday? You two are so generic I have trouble remembering. New Merker.
  25. You can't go into this season with Hinrich as your backup PG. If they do its akin to Neifi and Macias fiascos of the Dusty Era.
