  1. John Kruk on BBT, said Jeter' range at SS is a little indifferent, what the hell does that mean?
  2. just wait until November You've got a point.
  3. Games, over, congrats to UNC but, I'd still like to see someone dunk in Hansbrough face.
  4. Tyler Hansbrough's done a nice job in this tournament of proving he's no more than the 3rd best player on Carolina. I've been saying that all year, but no Carolina fan will listen to me. Oh, well. I have a friend that's a diehard Carolina fan who has said all year long that he's the second best player on the team (which I agree with). Ellington's had a superb tournament though. I'm watching and I really don't see National Player of Year skill or talent in Hansbrough, how did he win it in 2008?
  5. UNC is better but, what if MSU would have worked the ball more inside, looks to me like Suton could have done some work on Hansbrough.
  6. When they're completely healthy, there's no one in the nation that can give these guys a game. They're real good but as I've been saying all year long, I really didn't think there was another team in the nation that stood above everyone else besides the Heels. I believe your correct, some reminiscent of that UNLV team with Larry Johnson, Stacey Augmon, etc. just hand over fist better than anyone else.
  7. MSU' going to come back in the second half and when by one, after wards, in a move without precedent, Hansbrough decides to come back for a fifth year at UNC. Wants to complete the "mission" next year.
  8. Save for Lee and Fukedome continuing to look like crap at the plate, the Cubs looked pretty good.
  9. It tastes too hoppy. They claim its unique, when in fact, its nothing special.
  10. After tonight's game and Hansbrough is history, what will become ESPN and Vitale' next college BB God?
  11. Having learned something about brewing and participated in the brewing of an Amber Ale, what's the BFD about Miller Lite' triple hops process?
  12. I'm rooting for MSU because the only person I have any level of emotion for that's better than 'totally detest' in the UNC program is the criminally underrated Ty Lawson. Same here. I really want Hansbrough to go out on a loss Me too, at very least, we'll no longer be subject to Vitale and ESPN homilies to Hansbrough, thank goodness.
  13. Anyone else catching Roy Williams on ESPN lamenting how this season has been the "toughest" of his career? Give me an effing break!
  14. Didn't we get enough this with Prior/Wood in '04 and '05? I'm not sure what this even means. So we shouldn't have an extremely high upside guy who is an injury risk in our rotation because we've had pitchers who have gotten hurt a lot before (a lot of teams have histories like this, as pitchers tend to get hurt a lot)? As you noted, we're not even relying on him that much. I meant the constant health questions, the Cubs and Harden assuring us nothing is wrong when, its obvious there's a problem. The infamous simulated starts were Harden looks ready to go, etc.
  15. Didn't we get enough this with Prior/Wood in '04 and '05?
  16. About Harden being hurt or the Cubs having enough to win the NL Central without Harden?
  17. I don't believe there's any question he's hurt. Throwing in the 80's Saturday? That's not a healthy Rich Harden, he should be shelved until October where his contributions will truly make a difference. The Cubs' have enough to win the NL Central without him.
  18. Perhaps, even more shocking than the Bears acquisition of Cutler, is the number of people (including Rick Morrisey - what the hell has he been sniffing?) calling the Score saying it was a bad trade for the Bears. In what universe is that true?!
  19. I was thinking DT or DE in the with the 2nd Round pick, the Bears need someone to get after the QB. Cutler may help in that he'll keep the defense off the field but, nevertheless, the Bears have got to consistently pressure the opposing QB.
  20. Wow I'm shocked, didn't think Angelo had the brains or balls to pull off such a move! Some may argue the Bears gave up a lot maybe, but, when you consider Angelo' recent 1st round draft history. The importance of the QB position and the fact, that Cutler' superior to any Bear QB in what, the last decade, at least, I don't think it was a lot.
  21. Seconded and, although, as Jersey pointed out, Angelo has backed off on his season ending QB ramble, he still rambled on about the need for an NFL QB. What worries me is it makes way too much sense for the Bears to pursue Cutler, that's why they won't.
  22. Here's to Milton Bradley, there's been quite a bit a talk about what the Cubs have lost in DeRosa but, for me it's simple - Bradley' bat > DeRosa bat' regardless of DeRosa' versatility and leadership.
  23. Even though the chances are slim, I'd like to see both UNC and UConn lose. Sorry to see Pitt lose, I thought they would have a had a better chance against UNC than Villanova.
  24. I was an Illini fan who wanted to see him in orange but, after seeing play I'm glad he's not. He doesn't appear capable of much more than hanging around the perimeter looking for a three. Then there's flopping (I believe that's more a Duke teaching), faces and sounds don't know if I could have put up with that from someone as one dimensional as Scheyer.
  25. Little late in posting but, damn there went on of my FF teams - Memphis - I was really looking forward to a UConn - Memphis match up. Thought it could have been one the best games in this year' tournament. Did anyone get the feeling Purdue never had a chance? Sure they hung in there but, you knew UConn was going to win.
