    MLB finally nailed the high profile guy they've been looking for. Expect more news coverage of this than there should be. They want to make an example of him to show the policy works.

    The problem with Edmond's case is that he's never been THE guy on his team. He's always been overshadowed by someone better. I think he's better than Hawk, but not worthy of the Hall.

    Its so hard to tell when they're having a new episode or a rerun. Good show though. Last semester I watched it every morning. In fact it made me skip physics just about every day. I'm convinced that show is still on the air because of college kids. I used to watch it every chance I got. And some guys in school watched it religiously.

    Mentioning players by name would've been completely over the line. Ryno knew that, so he left their names out. But he pretty much said who he was talking about when he mentioned the camera in the dugout. No one ran for that camera faster than Sammy. He had to do his little fist to the chest and lips things every time. I'm only 23, so I didn't get a chance to see baseball in it's purest form. But I think back when Ryno played, it was more of a game and less of a business than it is now. I think it was better back then. Now it's more about money.

    Lawton is a leadoff hitter with the highest on base percentage of all leadoff hitters in the league. To not use him the way he's meant to be used would be a crime against baseball. Personally, I'd like to see Lawton leadoff, with Walker second. We could use Hairston's speed at the bottom of the line up. My personal preference would be: 1. Lawton 2. Walker 3. Lee 4. Ramirez 5. Burnitz 6. Barrett 7. Hairston 8. Perez But when Nomar comes back: 1. Lawton 2. Garciaparra 3. Lee 4. Ramirez 5. Burnitz 6. Barrett 7. Walker 8. Hairston

    Wow I'm shocked by this, I would have thought the cards would do much better when their away. Not that I think your wrong or anything but I was wondering where you got these stats. Sorry for the delay, I had a long weekend, so I wasn't able to post on here. But I get my stats from http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/attendance. I actually thought I put the link in my original post, but I guess I forgot. I normally never believe stats on message boards without a link or something to back them up, so that's my bad.

    Oh, don't get me started on Quiznos. My ultimate nightmare is Carrottop doing a commercial for Quiznos. That would be the end of me. I hate those two more than I hate anything.

    radio commercials. be happy you don't hear them. Are you talking about those Old Style Light instructional series commercials? Those make me want to hurt small animals... Though the one with the letter from the Cardinals fan was pretty funny. Thats not part of the instructional series. We're talking about this: "Old style light instructional series, tape 85. Open an Old Style Light, listen, and repeat. This Old Style light is more refreshing than these commericals going off the air. This Old Style light is more refreshing than these commericals going off the air. very good. proceed to tape 86." You know, the ones that make you want to shove cotton into your ear canals Hahahaha, That might be the only one of those commercials I'd actually appreciate.

    Trust me, you don't. It's like watching Gigli. Everyone wanted to watch it to see just how bad it was... then they were kicking themselves after. Yeah, those BP ones are starting to get on my nerves too. They aren't as bad as they Old Style ones though.
