    Alright, knock that crap off now. These are the Pirates. The substantially weakened Pirates that make this week's Brewers look like the 1927 Yankees in comparison. Win this game. There is no excuse not to. None at all.

You blow, Marquis. I'd rather have Hill up here than you. Just to check with you on this. WoW = nerdy Sabermetrics = not nerdy? I'm not into Sabermetrics, either. A lot of that stuff like WARP3 and VORP and FART or whatever the hell they are just make my eyes glaze over. And yes, Sabers are huge baseball nerds, too.

    Does that really count as a GIDP? It was a DP, yes, but it wasn't grounded, and was only a DP because of a managerial call and a possible baserunning gaffe.

    They rarely do. i have one person on my "foes" list....i'll give you one guess as to who it is. Tim? if only... This is what prompted Wekse to use his first ever Foe option. It may have been kind of dumb, but I dont think it deserved a foeing. Oh well And I am kind of impressed that I was able to hunt down said post. I never truly saw the point of telling people you were putting them on your foes list. Do you expect them to lose sleep, laying awake at 3 am and asking "Why... oh WHY doesn't (name of poster) like me?" and then cry themselves to a miserable, restless sleep for a month?

    Good teams beat up on the teams that they are supposed to beat. If the Cubs are a good team, August should be a cakewalk.

    Wow. When you put things like that, I am even more excited about the rest of the season. I just want the best record in the NL so we have HFA in the NLDS and, god willing, the NLCS. Stupid All-Star game.
