  1. The 1985 Bears knock a few starters out, that would be my guess Eric Hipple nearly was killed by Wilbur Marshall. Stupid NFL blocking the youtube video Hipple got nailed as well but the hit on Ferguson was the worst of them all. Marshall is my fav. football player of all-time.
  2. Most importantly, they still have to live in Cleveland.
  3. In order.... Dodgers (then get raided for illegal activities) Boston New York Houston Brewers
  4. I wonder what the NFL record is for most games played in a season while having the opposing team need to make a QB substitution during the game? Thru 4, they're at 3.
  5. This has the settings like week 1. GB I believe has similar yards as Detroit just poor play by Rodgers and Crosby.
  6. Tim.... Heyward, Chatwood, and Montgomery for Cueto (out for 2019 TJS), Melancon, and Watson? Yes? Maybe? Chatwood & Melancon basically cancel out. Monty & Watson swap places with Watson giving us more of a pure pen lefty and SF more of a starter. Which leaves Heyward & Cueto. Cueto is guaranteed to provide no value next year and is no great bet at all when he returns from surgery at 34. Heyward's contract is longer, but the annual cost is similar and Cueto is somehow a worse bet than Heyward. I guess I'd do it. If SF could fix Chatwood, they'd win the deal. But it would also mean we'd need a CF next year unless people trust a Happ/Almora platoon. I was on the fence on it too, it's one of those odd deals that isn't one-sided currently but so many x-factors to delve into that future predicting is obscured by team needs. (SF needs an athletic OF in RF with gap to gap power, Cubs need BP help, SF needs a starter for '19 etc).

  8. Eric Patterson's NSBB minor league player of the year award >>>> Air player of the week.
  9. Don’t want him because I’m a big fraidy cat who thinks every big contract we sign is going to hamstring us when their shoulder or wrist or knee gives out. I don't see the same red flags as with Darvish and Heyward.
  10. Manny. But seriously, Andy Barkett from Boston or Jeff Albert from Houston would be the leading candidates I'd want (I'd probably rank Albert 1st). PJ Piliterre (sp?), Yankees assistant hitting coach. Please get someone who focuses on their lower halves to get their launch angles to pre-Chiliball.
  11. Gary Discarina c'mon on down... (I say this half joking)

He also touches 98 with a plus slider and a deceptive delivery. If the Cubs go to a 6 man rotation as I hope they do, given his injury history and effort, his chances are better going 25 starts instead of 30-35. If they miss out on Harper or Machado, he's got the highest ceiling remaining (assuming no pitchers opt out and/or get their options picked up). I think he'll command 100+ mil.
  13. Win one for the greatest apparel of all-time... http://www.nowscape.com/mormon/undrwrmo.jpg 1908 (I'm aware Denver isn't the epicenter of LDS but it's the closest I could find)
  14. I've always wanted to go to College Station but alas I won't. Minus UGA, this should be the last time an opponent is favored against UK.
  15. When did IMB turn into the missing poster "Diffusion" with his spot-on analysis of the Cubs roster? Bravo and well done.
  16. Bears have been getting flagged for that bs for years, it seems like Matthews has lived a very charmed life with regards to it. Without having witnessed every RTP call that the Bears have been called for over the past decade, I would be stunned if one of them was close to as bad as either of the two Matthews just got dinged for. It is true that Clay has had a lot of questionable hits over his career (the one that jumps to mind is the "block" he layed on Russell Wilson after an interception, which really tested Russell's magic concussion water) but that doesn't really explain the NFL immediately claiming the two RTP calls on him being correct. The refs might have it out for him, but this is going to screw stuff up across the league. I mean, if you think its reasonable for a DL to stop in his tracks to make a "tackle" and then somehow not land on the QB: http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/24782945/william-hayes-miami-dolphins-tears-acl-trying-avoid-sack-flag Him acting like a bitch hasn't helped him.
  17. He has 27 completions behind the line of scrimmage. I don't know what came 1st, Nagy's playcalling restricting Trubisky or is Trubisky restricting Nagy? I'm pretty sure it's Trubiskys limitations. Given Trubisky's inaccuracy, I'm tending to agree which is unfortunate. I'd rather have shitty playcalling at this point which is easier to correct.

  19. Im fine with that, I have no idea how they are 2 point underdogs at home.
  20. I'm glad his reputation is catching up to him. He doesn't have something in common with Burfict (being a dirty player isn't one of them) so he's flown under the radar With that said, those last 2 PFs were brutal.
  21. Mitch with another poor decision against this aroused defense, should have been pucked.
  22. horsefeathers em both.
  23. Damn it sucks GB should be 0-3.
  24. Kentucky might be legitimately good and not just a fluke.
  25. It's not they're dumb, just not well versed at crisis management when the media is asking questions you want nothing to do with.
