    Congrats to Kelenic, he deserves it. In my 13 years of scouting the Midwest (before resigning last Fall) he's the best I've seen.

    Do the Mets take a high ceiling HS arm or go collegiate OF. My guess is Swaggerty, although I like Liberatore, Stewart, and Kelenic more.

    Man at this rate we aren't getting to the Cubs pick till like closer to 8? Maybe 7:30? Another nice feature when the Cubs had top 10 picks in the past... I miss when it was done in one day with DF&Es.

    PG has the Cubs selecting Xavier Edwards SS/2B prep out of FL commit to Vandy. In the mock they have Seigler going 23rd with Rocker and Denaburg still on the board. Edwards is probably the best athlete and probably the best defender with the arm strength which will put him at 2B. I would prefer others based on reports.

    I was more impressed with Thomas than I expected to be. I wasn't going into it thinking there would be power potential but there is. He'll be a plus hitter, plus defense, plus runner with a 50 arm and probably 45 power. He has an advanced approach. Tough sign as he's a two sport athlete at TCU as well as his dad is the strength guy for the Sox. His comp to me is Ellsbury. I would not be upset if the Cubs got him.

    Plus, you're missing out on 3 years of the best year round instructors you'll find anywhere in the world. I mentioned this to Bruno but if it was my son and he could clear 150-200k after taxes/anything above that at slot & with them paying 100% of school, I would suggest signing.

    Uelmen has a 17IP (3 start) scoreless streak right now. 17IP 11H 0ER 4BB 17Ks. Never been high on him but it's good to see.
