    Think we'll see a bunch of running in an attempt to take the ball out of Mitch' hands? I hope it would be to balance the offense and get more touches to Montgomery and especially Cohen. Either way you phrase it, the result should be the same.

    Well I was wrong. What are the odds this helmet stuff was pure BS? Like there’s a decent chance he never wanted to go to the Raiders but he knew Pittsburgh wouldn’t trade him somewhere he wanted to go (like NE). So he signs the big deal, makes a huge fuss out of the helmet and gets himself released so he can sign where he wants to. I'm curious if there was collusion, given both parties, it would not surprise me.

    Somehow, Lawrence's season didn't end with that cheap shot. Those takedowns are glorified Roy Williams' horsecollars. No chance A&M comes back with Mond.

    This defense will regress in some fashion whether it's injuries, lack of turnovers especially TDs following them, roster, etc. Trubisky has to make up for that. Am I the only who's upset they want him to be more of a pure pocket passer?

    injury prevention I have hope that Trubisky not taking preseason reps will account for all of his inefficiencies last night and he drastically improves. In fact, I'm hanging my hat on it. But man he better start improving over the next 2 games. It was stupid of Nagy That decision of not playing him in the preseason was the right move, I'm sure he had more than enough reps against the best defense in the league. However, his game plan last night restricted Trubisky and combined that with Trubisky's inconsistent play and you get that awful performance. Nagy put him in a position to fail and Trubisky followed-through. Trubisky needs to get better and Nagy didn't help.

    So, 9 million to be a second QB coach? Is that more likely than the fact they don’t like Kelly as much as you seem to? If they didn't like Kelly quite a lot they'd have cut him or put him on the PS, and they certainly wouldn't waste a spot on the 53 with him. This isn't complicated. On paper Brissett is the starter, Hoyer is the backup, and Kelly the third. However, I suspect you may actually see Kelly be the guy to go in if Brissett gets hurt or stinks. Go check out a Colts message board. That's what the majority of them think this morning as well. I would check today's Cubs game thread before using a message board as some form of validation.

    This is the same player who would have been the clear cut 1st overall pick in 11' (higher ceiling than entering the 12' draft) but returned to Stanford despite the criticism. He's obviously never had to worry about money and viewed the NFL more as a job than a career. Good for him to put his future and family first.

    If everything stays the same Strasburg - Stroman - Thor - deGrom all in a row games 3-6 Three lefties in a row against the Nationals. Is that good or bad? Bad. Without Harper, they're .50 higher against lefties as far as OPS.

    You can make a good case for Chris Archer back in 2011. After that, it's luminaries like Mark Pawelek, Angel Guzman, and Donnie Veal. I knew I was forgetting someone. Archer was a top 30 prospect the year before they traded him, IIRC. One of Hendry's best trades when they acquired Archer.

    I'm hopefully forgetting someone but Marquez might be the best pitching prospect since Prior (Willis rose with Florida).
