  1. This is for the best in so many ways.
  2. For tanking purposes, today is going about as bad as possible.
  3. Len, thank you for bringing sabermetrics into Cubs' broadcasts compared to the previous PBP guy who only spoke of two out RBIs.
  4. IMO, there's a steep dropoff going from Wilson/Fields to Lance. Lance is gifted as hell but like Trubisky is raw. Obviously, we've seen nothing that points this current group to being able to develop a QB. I'm all for drafting Slater or Cosmi in the 1st and drafting the best interior OL in the 2nd and letting the next FO draft a QB as it appears this group will back next year. If they have any hope of keeping their jobs next year, they would be best off protecting Foles. You really thing Nagy and Pace are back? Its really hard to see them both back as a package deal. Nagy appears to have lost the D, and the O is no better than when he arrived. Pace enters the last year of his deal too, so he's not in great spot to just let him lame duck it with Nagy also on the hot seat if he stayed. Maybe Pace has mesmerized the McCaskey's enough to outlive Nagy, but its hard to see both back... mostly its hard to imagine Nagy back. Damn that would be dumb though. I hope I'm wrong but ownership seems to still trust Pace while Pace seems content to look at Nagy's coaching record and go for one more year. That might change if they lose out or have several repeats of Sunday night.

  6. Ed Dobbs or Mike Borgonzi please. This should not be difficult.
  7. I can't believe this staff and front office remains the same with this garbage.
  8. Why did CA think it was a good idea to give former NBAer Nate Robinson a professional boxing license w/out having boxed before?
  9. AFLAC!
  10. You backed PSU through all the Paterno mess, but will abandon them because of bad play? Ugh I didn’t defend Paterno or Sandusky, sooooo.....sure? He didn't say you defended them, just that it's ironic you're going to stop rooting for them after losing 5 games in a row and not after the most disgusting scandal is sports history.
  11. Yes, most are livid now too from what I can tell. Which is fair. I hope AK proves everyone wrong but the pick looks like a role player.
  12. If GarPax made this pick, everyone would be livid.
  13. He's a good kid. Scouted alot him in HS. I'm sure DJ never wants me to attend one of his games.
  14. Id stick with what you have.
  15. I'm assuming it'll go to Kantrovitz or Jared Porter.
  16. I'd keep the secondary intact, they are young and good. draft oline, find a taker for Smith, Hicks, and possibly Mack. Dump Travathian, Quinn. If you can draft the Lance, then try him. need a rb in the mid rounds, and a speed rusher, #1 wr next year Secondary isn't really that young. Skrine is 31. Gipson is 30 and a FA. Fuller will be 29 next year. And I don't know why the hell you'd trade Smith. This is his 3rd season and he's younger than all but 5 players on the team, and all 5 of them are rookies. He's a building block. Also, the big issue with blowing things up is that nobody wants Quinn and pay him 24Mil over the next 2 years guaranteed for his 1 sack of production. It would also cost the Bears more for him not to be on the team than it would to keep him. Also long shot that anyone wants a 30+ year old LB in Trevathan. I'm sure someone would take Mack, but you aren't getting anything near franchise changing for him. You're probably looking at a package similar to either of the Ngakoue trades (2nd/3rd and a 5th). Pace really has poorly spent on FAs. Smith has the best player on the team this year along with Fuller. Unfort the Bears have a GM who was in job saving mode one year too late.
  17. I wish... but somehow the Bears would horsefeathers that up too. I'm confused, what's supposes to be exciting about that combo? (also, I read and article that had Riddick gotten the NY job, he'd have hired McDaniels.) Those are both solid choices, IMO. I like Borgonzi and Dobbs better but I would be fine with Riddick. Brady is my 2nd choice for HC.
  18. To the people who defend Nagy's coaching record as a reason not to fire him, please watch this game tonight. Also, look at the talent out there and try and defend Pace too. Yes, both can be bad at the same time.
  19. Cut him some slack, it's the biggest win of his career.
  20. Does Nagy take over the playcalling again?
  21. I'm trying to figure out how they even got 108.
  22. This play calling has actually regressed.
  23. Yep. Pace has had two coaches and currently has an offensive minded coach with a team with less than 120 yards halfway thru the 4th.
  24. How dare you insult Garner. Where's Vance when I need hiim. Just the voice in that ad! She is a dime Since I'm actually watching this game...If the Bears had any offense this game would be over by now. They' have the star power, the Vikings were walking a fine line offensively without Diggs all year and Smith Jr. being out really exposes the lack of depth among pass catchers You're probably still jealous of the Bears' offense though?
