    NFL Playoffs 2022

Gould continues to be my favorite kicker of all-time. Fwiw, GB would have been destroyed by Tampa (again).
  2. At this point, I'm for Khan and a progressive style of management where he is less of a scout and more of a Theo type and overhaul the analytical and scouting sides of the Bears while delegating those roles as they develop. Rumors have Ted retiring in the next few years and maybe Khan can progress into that role, while modernizing the team, and grooming Champ Kelly into a future GM role.
  3. Khan and Leftwich please. Who knows at this point what's going to happen. Hhm Khan and Leftwich do have a Pittsburgh connection. I'm nervous about Leftwichs short coaching career but to some extent his playing career must make up for that. I liked this guy's coach previews. Heres Leftwich's https://ontapsportsnet.com/2021/12/03/byron-leftwich-future-head-coach-nfl-buccaneers-offense/ He has a "coach tree" chart. And yea, Leftwich would really need to extend outside if his immediate network. Nagy really had the same problem and kinda was saved by being able to keep Fangio and his staff. The amount of solid DCs available is amazing.
  4. DBB had an incredibly vague tweet. Then saw this, but yea failed to see anyone actually sau that Khan and Leftwich please. Who knows at this point what's going to happen.

    NFL Playoffs 2022

TB One of the best O-lines in NFL Evans and Gronk (among other missing pieces) A defense that usually has your team in the lead Leftwich may be good but he has a ton of talent to work with. I think you just eliminated any OCs from ever becoming a HC. Would Hackett deserve a shot? Hell, he doesn't call plays. I came off too snarky there but it goes beyond that, his offense led by Winston was top 5 in the NFL, is viewed as a leader by his players, Google what McCoy has said about him.... It goes well what 2 years with a great Bucs team has done.

    NFL Playoffs 2022

After watching the playcalling of Leftwich and Daboll, please don't screw this up.
  7. I like Flores and his ability to maximize talent but his burning thru OCs is too big of a risk, IMO.
  8. You're ignoring his time in Seattle. I also have Aaron Glenn as my 4th choice for HC.
  9. My top 3 GMs.... 1) Dobbs 2) Khan 3) Schoen My top 3 coaches: 1) Leftwich 2) Daboll 3) Hackett
  10. This would never happen. Dodds as GM could. Ballard would be blocked. Plus, according to Olin Kreutz and Patrick Mannelly, Bears ownership are not fans of Ballard anymore Because he's knows Phillips should not be around football decisions like hiring Pace.
  11. Night and day from this year. Barring some insanity this offseason that's an average at worst schedule. Based off of that schedule, put the O/U right now at 8.5.
  12. This would never happen. Dodds as GM could. Ballard would be blocked. I know Ballard in Phillips role as Pres/CEO will never happen ( obviously they picked Pace instead of Ballard), I doubt Dobbs would come too, TBH. It's just a shame this organization can't get out of their own way
  13. Similar to last year.... Ballard-President of Football operations Dodds-GM Leftwich-HC Clyde Christensen-OC Fangio-DC
  14. Going into next year with Jenkins and Borom as your starting tackles will be a disaster. They need a legit LT, Jenkins at RT and Borom as a swing tackle.
  15. This is the organization that offered Olin Kruetz 15.00 per hour to work with the offensive line.
  16. Dalton standing not even looking. That is Nagy's tenure in one play.
  17. The Bears inability to adjust when the opposition puts their #1 WR in the slot is amazing.
  18. Nagy is in the don't give a horsefeathers mode.
  19. If you can get Covington without Coby or Williams, I'd be for it. Covington's my guy. Big fan. Right now, I'm probably leaning to getting the best guy the Bulls can get for Jones Jr, Javonte, and 2nd round picks. I don't know that anything really puts them over the top other than getting a superstar and that's not happening without completing changing the core. You can't get a superstar for Williams, Coby and picks. Jerami Grant or Myles Turner are nice, but I don't see either putting the Bulls over the Nets/Bucks. If the Bulls were to give up Coby, they'd have to replace his scoring/shooting off the bench. Getting a 4/small ball 5 does no good if you can't score off the bench. The most I'd go for any addition within reason is Jones and a lottery protected 1st.
  20. I go back and forth on whether or not to make a big splash with someone like Turner and give up Williams or White. Right now, I'm just leaning towards Marvin Bagley keeping the current and future core and going from there. Bagley has been pretty bad this year. I think Barnes is the add you want from the Kings, Of course, I think he would cost at least Coby, If you can get Covington without Coby or Williams, I'd be for it.
  21. Ugh, I thought he was the best option without having to move Williams or White. I go back and forth on whether or not to make a big splash with someone like Turner and give up Williams or White. Right now, I'm just leaning towards Marvin Bagley keeping the current and future core and going from there.

    NFL Week 18

That would be hilarious. Can you imagine if he actually did that, and then somehow Jordan Love leads the Packers to a SB win? I'm so done with his horsefeathers. I think he's the most talented QB who ever played the game, but I'm ready to move on and watch some 7-10 seasons for a decade or so. Make it 3 decades and I'm there.
  23. One thing keeping Leftwich from being my top guy is I'm not sure who would be coming with him. For one, the guys I'd probably have ahead of him would potentially come with a GM candidate as well (McDaniels, Roman, Moore). Secondly, the Bucs have a really good coaching staff but a lot of their top guys are older. Their younger guys are mostly unproven, especially in terms of being coordinators or playcallers. And Leftwich has only really coached under the Arians tree so it's not like he can pull guys from his past connections, unless it's from his playing days (admittedly, I haven't looked into anyone he may have played with or for). So, you're potentially looking at a 1st time HC, who will likely also have calling plays on his plate. You may get an experienced OC as kind of like a mentor, but I'd imagine you'd also get a 1st time DC since I don't see Bowles coming with Leftwich to make a lateral move. But I do love your 1st point, and it may be the most important when looking at the next candidate. Fields would be a fantastic fit with what Leftwich has shown he can do with an offense in the last 3-4 years. It's my biggest drawback as well and should be one of the first questions asked. As far as whether or not they should have a football guy at the top. Look at Chris Ballard and why the Bears picked Pace over him.
  24. Increasing his trade value! I'd love for them to go after Myles Turner, I think Sabonis is the better player but Turner is the better fit. Either way, I'd feel much more comfortable against Mil and the Nets with more size.
  25. Or the Bears will pass on him and he will go on to be the next great coach for the Packers or Vikings or something That's how I feel about LaFluer, Bears completely missed in picking Nagy when he was there for the taking.
