With his age, tools, and production.. Hyperbole doesn't exist. Alright then, he's the best prospect in the organization Based on ceiling, you'd be correct.
He's more of a 4th Ofer type. He doesn't have one tool that really stands out but he's doesn't do anything poorly either. His hit tool is probably his best asset. Defensively, he's more of a natural RFer. He's an ideal asset to fill out the btm of the roster.
Given the Cubs current situation, getting rid of Heyward adds minimal benefit both financially or talent wise. If you want to get rid of Contreras including Heyward only lessens the prospect in return and fattens the Ricketts' pockets.
Who's 2nd on the team in OPS? BJ Murray. Another good night overall... MB got on base 27 times as a team Robel Garcia doing his best imitation of a AAAA player, good to see him improve his BB rate despite the K rate well above 30 %. As far as Ball, I'd let stick at AA for a little bit. His power numbers are starting to rise and this has been his best stretch since 2019. I don't recall seeing this many pitchers in the organization striking out more base runners allowed than this current group.
