I gave it up but came back each time they won. :? when was the last time that happened? :wink: actually when i lived in san antonio i became a spurs fan, only local pro sport team....but now that im not there i couldnt give 2 shakes of my **** about the NBA

    He threw over 200 innings in 2002 and 2003. He hasn't been healthy in 2004-2005. We'll have to see if he's finally back to form. But it's not like he's never had a 200 inning season. He has. Twice. Back to back. Also, we would have never been in the NLCS in 2003 if it weren't for Wood. That game five in Atlanta was masterful.

    I picked Perez in the 2nd round last year. I still finished 3rd. That's how good (read: lucky outside of Perez)) I am. i dont get my dish untill monday, yet another game i miss :( at least i have XM

    I had that problem when I lived in Charlotte. Somehow, the powers that be think that North Carolina is in the Cincinnati market. Go figure. they gonna black me out for DC baltimore florida and atlanta too?

    Sweet pic Vance, but what are you like 5 foot tall. Lol To be fair, Barrett is 6-3 or 6-4 I believe... if vance is really 5' 8", Barrett is more like 6'6" 6'7" unless Barrett is wearin heels in that pic

    I'm thinking it has to do with rubbing of a certain part of lower anatomy in order to "relax" before he goes to the plate. :lol: Or perhaps he was softening his hands via the Alou method..who knows? i was always under the impression that moises pissed on his hands to toughen them up(build callouses)i could be wrong though

    Alcohol wasn't playing a role in lack of balance was it? Believe it or not, I think we had sobered up by then, mainly b/c it was far too cold to drink. shoulda brought a glove for the beer hand
