What type of timetable are you putting on getting Texas back to a BCS level program? 2012 or 2013 at the latest. I am hoping for 8 wins next season, and competing for a BCS spot the year after. #2 recruiting class last year, currently #1 this year and the level of HS talent for the next recruiting class just in the state of Texas is great (Jonathan Grey and Mario Edwards will both be top 10 nationally). Has recruiting been the problem? Their current junior class was weak by Texas standards, but the other 3 (senior, soph, freshman) were #5, 5, 3. They might be BCS contenders in 2012, but it's not as if they've had to climb out of some big recruiting hole, have they? Recruiting was a (relative) problem from 2006-2008. The staff was complacent after the win against USC. The last two classes were good and the next two (2011-12) look to be good as well. Yeah, if only Texas could recruit enough talent to compete.
