K-State called two timeouts while Mizzou was taking knees on 2nd and 3rd down up 10, so we punted, and with six seconds left K-State ran a shovel pass and that was the game. I hope Pelini and Snyder collide in traffic. i dont think they let people Bill Snyder's age drive.

Nebraska spent the entire game trying to protect their semi-injured QB. Then, with 40 seconds left in the game (and a 17 point lead) they aired it out twice in an attempt to score a last second TD instead of taking a knee. Bo Pelini is an idiot. I wish someone would've popped a late hit on Martinez.

Well, now we can make fun of him for being an illiterate ignoramus, at least. I'm not saying it's not a loss, but I think MU's recruiting is good enough that you'll be able to find a serviceable replacement. He sounds dumb enough to be a potential problem anyway.

word on the streets is that his mom really wants him at Mizzou. Why? There's no good reason. But I don't feel great about it at all.

nebraska w/o taylor martinez isn't all that impressive. iowa state outgained them, out-first downed them and handled them pretty well. iowa state is also 17 pts better than us (not counting the late td.) also, i think TM is back for the game.

all the goodwill Turner Gill earned by miraculously beating a terrible CU team will go away when Nebraska is up by 40 at halftime.

You can savor a win over us in a few weeks. We're terrible. Dude, I wouldn't overreact here. You'll likely beat us by 40-60 points, and that's not hyperbole. We won't. maybe you missed the part of yesterday's game where Cody Hawkins--CODY HAWKINS--threw for 322 yards and three TDs against us. I loved the win and all, but at the end of the day, we did let CU score 45 against us. We won't stay within 35 points of any of the remaining teams we play.

colorado is pretty terrible, too. i think they're better than us, despite the score, but they're not a good team at all.

This football season has sucked, but today was pretty delicious, outside of KSU pantsing UT. KU with the dramatic come from behind win. Mizzou with the faceplant. I'll savor the little things while they last.

wait, for real? Yep. 52-45, final. Hawkins might want to start packing right now. what an unbelievable win for a a program that needed something--ANYTHING--good to happen to it. Especially since we're staring down the barrel of three total bitchslappings with Nebraska, OK State, and Mizzou for our final three games. Make no mistake about it--CU is terrible. I mean awful. But they are better than us. And it would be hard to blame the team for giving up at the start of the 4th today. Sad thing? It wasn't televised. So I'll never get to see what it was like.

KU'll take him. holy smokes kansas is TERRIBLE. that was a brutal pillow fight to watch for a half. thankfully iowa state woke up in the second half and didn't piss their bowl hopes away. Yeah, the scary thing is we had less talent than usual today. We started our 3rd string QB who'd yet to take a meaningful snap. And our best playmaker (which for us means he can run over seven yards without getting winded) was suspended. I was proud of them for their effort today. ISU should have blown them out. (They were clearly still celebrating their win over Texas during the first half.) But we actually made it interesting. I really hope we can get a talent infusion and a new S&C regime, though, or things will only get worse.

you expected anything else? kansas has an army of gypsies and unearthly creatures from the 5th dimension at their beck and call. well, unless you guys know something I don't, he hasn't been cleared to play. He's been cleared academically. His amateurism is still being investigated. Sure would be nice if Tony Mitchell could be cleared academically. Maybe ricky clemons can tutor him.
