I'm assuming you're using coyote in the people smuggling sense. So if they were Kurdish refugees, and SSR were a Turkish coyote, he'd have be able to name his price (Weber's daughter?) in order to whisk them away to safety? Or something like that? Are Weber's daughters hot?

He should worry about the KSU fans, you know the ones that protested his hiring outside of Bramlage during his PC. is this really true? I haven't been following the story too closely. Not sure about that but I saw a link to their message board which had one of the biggest meltdowns I've ever seen. A decent number of their fans want players to transfer and recruits to back out so they can get this era over with as soon as possible. Meanwhile, Frank Martin follows Missouri to the SEC to torment them with his brand of basketball into perpetuity.

That's not really what he said. He said he did some things in his 9 years that had never been done at Illinois. I don't know what Bruce said here, but I've always kind of disagreed with the "he's such a nice guy" narrative we have had consistently shoved down our throats. Maybe he is a great guy privately, but a lot of the time he's come across as petty and insecure publicly. It was a pretty weird interview. He had to know that going on ESPN 1000 was going to be an Illinois-centric interview, but he wasn't really interested in talking about his time in Champaign. The line in question was more of a throwaway deal as he was saying he enjoyed his time there and will remember it fondly. He also mentioned his new purple tie collection more than once. I haven't heard the quote, but he allegedly bragged about having four offers "just this week" when he took the KSU gig. Maybe he was trying to say how great a job KSU is, because he passed these other opportunities to take it. But isolated, it sounds like his insecurity coming out again.

Interesting. Thanks for the response. UK was definitely bad-ass this year. I never really felt the talent across the board was that great this year, though. It almost seemed like a down year to me, aside from a couple of stacked teams.

Klee wrote he was afraid to have a beer in public or tell jokes, I don't think he ever felt quite at home at Illinois. I don't even know how to interpret that behavior. It's just weird. Like, see-a-shrink weird.
