Yes, I'd love to see Kansas not have to play an above 8 seed to make a final four, again. Like last year. Like '08. It's so hilarious watching you try to diminish the success of KU hoops. Yes because these things didn't happen. I'm not worried about you winning a title this year tho, you aren't on probation. Although maybe this is like '88 and will result in you going on probation. CBB pro-tip: If you actually get to the tourney, sometimes you get to benefit from some upsets.

3 pt shooting teams give us trouble. Robinson should be able to score at will. We have no skilled bigs except Hummel and if he has to guard Robinson he will get worn down and be ineffective on offense. Plus this is going to be a Kansas home game. How are you at guarding the dribble drive? Purdue's strategy has been to spread it out when the 3's are going down and then Jackson and the Johnsons' drive. If the 3's don't fall things break down. If withey is in, we have a good safety net. He's statistically a better shot blocker than Anthony Davis. Our guards are good defenders. But mizzou was able to exploit us some with the dribble drive. I think it'll be a tough game. Purdue has played tough teams. They'll be ready to play us.

Ed Hightower made his impact during the MU game last night. Missed a big time call that impacted the game. Whatever it was, I'm sure it was the right call.

Syracuse player comes down on ksu guy's back, no call. Right after a clear charge on cuse was called a block on ksu. College officiating is horrible.

I can't wait until Texas decides it's done with your conference and your winning conference USA titles. You still are butt hurt that Missouri is more appealing than you? Also last night out here proved to me that KU fans like to pretend they're the most elite team, but they know they aren't deep down. They were all so horrified at the thought of MU making a final four, why? I heard a few KU fans say, "this proves Self is far superior to Haith, when did he ever lose a first round game like this?". Gee I don't know Bucknell and Bradley in back to back years? And really that's what you would use to determine who the better coach is? It's Bill Self, he's the best coach in America and this [expletive] fan base doesn't deserve him. Somebody forgot to take his Xanax today.

All in all, a pretty awesome day for sports. Ku w an easy win, and i Couldn't have scripted a more delicious end for mizzou. Was Kimmie wearing his sec shirt in the post game?

two coaches didn't even have KU in their top 25 this week. Coaches are dumb.

I took Davidson over Louisville and Harvard over Vandy. I also made the probably completely insane pick of taking Creighton past UNC and into the S16. Creighton's not a great defensive team. I think UNC would get whatever they'd want against them. I'm pretty sure I'm going to put FSU in the FF. Harvard I actually took to the S16. I also picked FSU to the Final 4. I ended up with a KU over UK final. i'd revise that ish now while you still can.

i'm not sure why you guys are so freaked out about Florida. They're decent. You're much better. They play awful defense, too. They're Mizzou lite. I'd rather play a team that was better defensively but doesn't have a chance of keeping pace offensively. Their talent level is greater than the average 7 seed too. Ultimately it's splitting hairs, because outside Kentucky there isn't a team in the tournament I would look at and think "OH NO", but when Gonzaga and St. Mary's were the other 2 possible 7's, I'd have much preferred them in the round of 32. Fair enough. I actually think Mizzou will go pretty far in the tourney this year. Too many weapons. An off night from one guy will rarely kill you. Back to the thread topic, great job as usual you guys. I always like to read this thread.

Mizzou scheduled Illinois, ODU and Villanova, all on the road. Really pisses me off. and 2/3 of those teams sucked. The other is a good midmajor. Missouri clearly should've known that those traditional tournament teams were going to be bad this year when they were scheduled a year ago. Never said they should have. Just saying that Mizzou's BCS non con teams ended up sucking this year, with a couple of exceptions. When that happens, it's gonna hurt you in seeding, especially if you can't win your league.
