how did we lose to these clowns?

They made one late in the 2nd OT. Dammit, I didn't watch the game. Just heard about it from OSU fans on facebook. Rough game for Smart and McLemore. The officiating was horrible on both ends, but OSU was hardly jobbed. They shot 10 more threes than us (with essentially the same # of overall shots taken), yet they still had more FT attempts. They got plenty of calls. As for KU only hitting 1 basket in both overtimes, OSU only hit 3 total. So it's not like OSU was raining from the field and we were just getting bailed out and living at the stripe. Both teams scored mostly from the FT line after regulation. To be fair, part of the reason both teams couldn't score is because both teams are among the most efficient defensive teams in the country. Still, you have every reason to be confident about our game against you. We never play well in Ames, and ISU is the kind of team that gives us fits. We struggle against teams who can draw Withey from the paint and/or score without going inside. You should have beaten us earlier this year. Not confident we'll beat you on the road. That said, you did lose at home to a truly awful Texas team, so who knows.

Did he get injured? Leg injury, he was on the ground screaming. Maybe just a hyper extended knee. Carried off the court. That sucks. He was really coming on.

What a horrible recruiting year for the Big 12. Well, that's good for KU. I'm pretty excited about our class, too. A lot of top juco guys who can add instant talent. And many of them of 3 to play 2 and/or were dec grads.

TCU sure played like it tonight. How do you score 11 points in a half? Ask NIU Or KU.

OSU at home is bad. OU on the road is a game you should win, but it's a forgivable loss. It's the TCU loss that really rankles. Just a humiliating disaster. They better wake up or they'll lose at home to KSU, and if you're a KU hoops player w a four game losing streak including a home loss to them, you should just hang yourself.

Elijah Johnson should not start. He's awful.

When you brick half your free throws, you're probably not going to win. Also, I thought the intent behind the elbow doesn't count.

They've been passive aggressive, but he stated how it would be hard to not recruit a talented team at Illinois, and also said recently on the radio here that Kruger left him a loaded team, but how he was proud he was able to build it and leave it in a better spot. I didn't really interpret those as weber shots. The loaded team one definitely was. How are you not seeing that one? I think he said that when UI was highly ranked, so I didn't interpret it as a shot because it had appeared that he did leave UI stocked enough to compete at a high level. No that was recently, he said it this past week about how he felt he left the place in a better spot than he inherited it. At least how I understood it. He made similar comments earlier this year. Regardless, he has every right to hate Weber. Weber talked hella [expletive] about him when he first got to UI, held the funeral, etc. I don't blame him for disliking him.

Who was it early in the season that said the Big 12 is a dumpster fire? I can't believe Bruce Weber might win a conference title. It only makes the fall sweeter. He won't win though, no way will he go into the phog and win. Just like there's no chance we'd lose to the worst team in D 1? Self has been taking shots at weber all year here. He will get that game. I missed that. What as he said?

I have no idea how we could go from so good to so terrible in a span of weeks. How do you score 13 points in a half vs TCU? They're barely a div 1 caliber team.

Oh man we are gonna struggle to another 30 win season, get a one seed, and probably make a final four. Can we ban this guy from this thread? Jesus snood, enjoy the ride once. I'm sorry I can't keep a cool level head like you when we're losing. We haven't played well for a month. Johnson is not a pg. this team has struggled to win at home. We need to improve a lot to be a FF team.

Florida is scary good. That said, man, the SEC has some stinker teams. (Though none as bad as TCU)
