    :?: Kerry Wood, he was used with absolutely no caution in HS. Threw both halves of a double header if memory serves. His crappy mechanics have had more of an effect than any double-header True, but it definitely doesn't help that he had games where he threw 170+ pitches in high school. I didn't know Dusty used to coach high school.

    I'd never listened to cubscast until you just mentioned it. I just listened to the most recent one, and i think I liked Bricks and Ivy better.

    True story, When I was in highschool I went to the University of Michigan Football Camp every year. One year the swearing by the campers must have gotten out of control or something becuase Bo Shembechler had a sit down with us to talk about our language. I can only remember two lines 1. Cussing is a converstional crutch. Then a few minutes later one of his staff inturrpted him with a question and he said in a voice only those within a ten foot proximity could hear: 2. I don't give a ______ can't you see I'm giving a talk. :lol:

    Nice try. The Cards have already offered him to the Cubs for Rusch. We're just waiting for the perfect time to pull the trigger. Any truth that Rusch, like Hill, is another of Hendry's "untouchables"?

    I want Dusty fired, but honestly, quotes like that almost make me like him. That is quality, quality stuff right there. I might memorize that quote, then go to town squares and pronounce it in a bold voice like a medieval herald. Excellent work, Johnny B. edit-spelling

    I gave this podcast a listen while I was cleaning the bathroom today. It's basically a couple of Cub fans arguing about the Cubs, and some of it was entertaining.
