    Yes he is. I like him a lot. Most baseball fans have no clue who he is. If he played for the Yankees he would be in the All-Star game every year.

    This is a perfect example of using statistics badly to prop up a weak premise. Murton has played poorly at times. However, Murton's been given sporadic, inconsistent playing time and a handfull of ABs. There is no reason to try to bring in numbers to prop up an extremely lame argument. They don't give the opinion any more validity at all. And just for future consideration; RBI are at least partly dependent on your teammates and where you bat in the order.

He was out by a good margin and tagged himself out by contact. Let's not get carried away in our paranoia here. The umps don't hate the Cubs. and Theriot was out by a country mile.

    B/c the umpire warned the teams. To me that was clearly a pitch that got away. What was said afterwords is another matter. I like DeRosa more every day.

    Soriano K-rushed that ball. Wells is a 5 inning pitcher.

    Exactly. It is not bad enough that I can not stand the a-clowns in the bleachers to begin with (everything wrong with the Cubs), but to happen two times in one game (in consecutive innings) is just embarrassing. Holy Hyperboly! Bleacher fans are far from everything that's wrong with the Cubs. Most people are smart enough to not be a moran in that situation.

    I'm biased, but I think they are worse at Busch. do they scream at every 300 foot fly bally too? It's really hard to tell how far the ball is flying when you are at the park. Especially the people in the bleachers with the wind blowing in. The ball looks like it is going to fly much farther than it does when it gets hung up in the wind.
