    I'm not sure, but I think the focus of removing the short season and the ACL is not to get rid of players, (although they do want to trim rosters too), it's because those development activities can be better and perhaps more effectively achieved by other means. It would truly not be in their best interest to get rid of the MiLB. But you never know with the owners.

    In the doc he says he didn't want to do it anymore once he turned pro and it became a job. I don't know how much of that statement is compensation for not being good enough and how much of it is a valid reason. He also fell back on having a bipolar diagnosis, which didn't appear to hamper his ability in college. The doc wasn't very informative regarding perceptions of other teammates and people around him except for the OC and his agent, and his one-time best friend. The NFL had him pegged though.

    Len sounds awful. Not because they lost, but he just sound terrible. I haven't listened to him since he left the Cubs. I feel bad for him. I get it though. I don't think I could work for the Ricketts in any capacity either.
