  1. Reliever comes in and can’t get anyone out. The Biscuits are the top offensive team in the young season. Shows how good Horton pitched.
  2. Horton breezed through 4 innings. One hit that could have been an error and a walk. Hist stuff was overwhelming hitters. Josh Rivera had a dong. Shaw has an RBI single and a walk. Aliendo threw out a steal attempt. Smokies up 2-0.
  3. Michigan gets hit with some stiff penalties and Harbaugh makes another fortune in the NFL.
  4. Losing Seiya's production is going to hurt a bit unless Beli, et al. pick it up, but this is a solid start of the season with a tough overall schedule.
  5. If they can play .500 against playoff caliber teams and beat up the also-rans like they have done, they will be in a great spot at the end of the season. Yes, I worry about the pen and they need some SLG off the bench, but they are a solid overall team.
  6. MB looks to have a rough year. It's too bad MLB has made the decisions they have regarding the minors.
  7. Yes, they are banking some good wins early in the season. To play this well against the competition they've faced is great. Dodgers (H) Rangers (A) D-Backs (A) Padres (A) ------ Mariners (A) Rockies (H) That's a tough schedule for any team.
  8. "43, sounds like a good bet to make some money," said the degenerate gamble.
  9. The Cardinals are still the only team in the division with a losing record.
  10. What a walk through nightmare memory lane. That 2003-2004 team was as good or better than the 2015-2017 Cubs team.
  11. I hate these late start times, but I'm glad they won. It was a happy shower this morning.
  12. I think a lot of this is noise that is generated because the sports TV people run out of stuff to talk about.
  13. He landed awkwardly on his ankle rounding first base a week or so ago. I imagine this is a lingering issue that might have been re-injured.
  14. It looks like Brown has changed and simplified his wind-up, but I'm not an expert. If he has it may help with control and arm stress.
  15. I agree. They can always DFA Tehran when Horton is ready for a few starts before coming up.
  16. Bad defense costs the other team a run for once
