    I agree with this, a lot. Sometimes you need a guy to hit a HR and sometimes you need a guy to put the ball in play. It would be great if the put the ball in play guy would also take a walk on occasion. I used to be extremely anti-Madrigal, but he has a place on this team.

    my 2 cents - have a different forum for the articles than the Cubs discussion. It gets pretty crowded quickly in the discussion forum and can be hard to follow. Put the games back in the game forum. It's where they belong. We could have an after-game discussion thread or something for each game in the Cubs forum. Overall, it's fine. I think the new people from PSD have mostly integrated well. I think we'd all like to see more discussion and people posting, but it's a different world than it used to be. I appreciate the articles a lot. I appreciate you all keeping this place going.

    Morel is playing a much better 3rd base lately. This team is coming together if they can get healthy.

    The Athletic has an article up. Tauchman has an 8% increase in barrel rate so for this year. I don't know that that is a skill, but if it is, yeehaw!
