yeah this makes a lot of sense it does...with a healthy tim tebow who would have won that game? uf...the only reason you want to put uga ahead of uf is because they won the game. there you guys go again, treating wins as absolute and final....theyre not. two teams played head-to-head on a neutral field, the one that won the game and has a better record should be ranked higher

if it was delaware then it was probably University of Delaware and Delaware State. I dated a girl who went to UD and it seemed like the school was probably pretty similar to Penn State, maybe 90% white. I know that DSU is also mostly black. But I have no idea why Delaware doesn't want to schedule Delaware State... they generally play a pretty tough (for i-aa) schedule and faced (and beat) navy this year. Delaware State, I think, usually sucks. But regardless of that, I don't the UD should have to schedule DSU just because they're in the same state. -
says the guy with a closet full of Ecko shirts. I only have one Ecko shirt, actually. I think it's ignorant to say what people can and can't wear because of the color of their skin. If a hispanic kid wore that, or better yet, if a hispanic kid wore fubu, would anyone complain? Of course not, I see it all the time. It's only when white kids wear 'urban' clothing that people have problems. And that's ignorant, IMO. what about FUBU shirts. FUBU stands for "For Us, By Us" and the "Us" definitely does not include white people.

I don't really expect Matsui to be a regular starter. He doesn't have a place to play. If it's true that he's getting a 3-year deal, he's going to be starting somewhere. Bench players don't usually get 3-year deals. pitchers with ERAs over 6 don't usually get 3-year $21M deals either

no but seriously what is the point of all this? at the middle infield we now have: theriot ss/2b cedeno ss/2b fontenot 2b/terrible ss matsui 2b/terrible ss derosa 2b/terrible ss probably the two best hitters here are derosa and matsui, but neither one will play ss. You're still left with a black hole at SS and a surplus of mediocre middle infielders. I fear that this is being done with the intention of something really stupid, like playing DeRosa a lot in RF and Matsui at 2B.

hey all right, more penn state football players in trouble!!! http://www.centredaily.com/news/local/story/262134.html not that some players didn't do stuff wrong - baker in particular seems like an idiot, and was involved in the last big incident - but this seems pretty unlikely: so like 20% of the football team decides to jump a guy who brushed against one of them, said excuse me and then walked away? i bet.

well you seem to be assuming that the SEC has one elite team (LSU), so it's pretty hard for LSU to have quality wins over elite teams under your criteria. As for the Big XII, here are the elite wins by the top three teams... OU: Mizzou Mizzou: .... Kansas: .... Though I'm guessing your point is that the winner of the Big XII will have at least two big-time wins. As for Oregon, they lost to Cal, which isn't that good as it turns out. You can't really consider Michigan an "elite win" if you're throwing out LSU's wins over the likes of Florida and Alabama. Oregon beat USC, a two loss team... LSU massacred Va Tech, another two loss team. I guess Arizona State is an elite win? I still don't believe they'd be a one-loss team if they'd played any sort of schedule.

Did Palmiero testify before a grand jury? But isn't it illegal to lie to Congress? Was this indictment unexpected? I don't believe Palmeiro ever testified before a grand jury, but he definitely lied to congress and committed perjury. If Bonds is being prosecuted then Palmeiro should be as well. -
