Ronny over Theriot is not a marginal difference. theriot has a .436 obp in the 2 spot im content with that And 2 days later its dropped 39 points...its bad enough to use a month of stats to make decisions let alone splitting that down to batting order. well, feel free to give this reminder to all the people in this thread who talk about cedeno having better stats this season. -

If Dempster falls off we have exactly 1 good starting pitcher left Which is just about on par with the rest of the league. It's rare to see any team with a bonafide 1-2 punch these days. Can't disagree, but I'd rather see him get a few days of rest during the Break.... Agreed. Considering the load he's catching right now... I'm real worried about his performance at the end of the season. I hope Lou wises up and rests him a bit more often. when we get to road interleague games, i wouldn't mind seeing blanco do a lot of the catching while soto is the DH. that'd keep him in the lineup while not having to catch 9 innings.

Given the amount of gambling, drinking, and shenanigans that happen during the Derby, it's a miracle people still treat it like an exercise in pageantry and high class entertainment. i went to the preakness in 2001, and let's just say that i'd played at least 3 games of beirut (beer pong) and seen several sets of boobs before noon.
