i'm more excited about lsu-auburn than i was for last week's sunday night game. mostly because ohio state is a joke against elite teams with speed.

Every Hawkeye fan could have coached that game better. That was the worst display of coaching I have ever seen in a sporting event in my life. It seemed like Ferentz was willing to lose that game to make a point (that Stanzi should have knelt to end the half) and there is no excuse for that. i'll send you some tape of rich kotite's days with the philadelphia eagles.

it's probably easier to take instruction when you're (a) getting your last shot to play in the big leagues and (b) speak the same language as the person instructing you.

what i don't understand is, (a) how come nobody in japan could figure this out, and (b) how come perry can't get him to stride more toward the pitcher?

i should be able to watch the wed/thu games, i'll be in california but don't have any big plans as far as i know. saturday night, i'll be able to check scores but i'm in a wedding, so won't really be able to watch. my flight home is at 2:30 PM Pacific time and i don't get back to the east coast until around midnight, so i'm missing that game completely #-o hopefully it's done by then, and by that i mean hopefully the cubs swept.

i feel bad for the brewers because they're a perennial loser and on the rare occasions that they do make it into contention, it's rough to have them kick you in the nads by falling apart. i definitely hate the cards more than the brewers; the cards can never win another game for all i care, and i'll be happy. i don't like the astros either. the brewers are just kinda "meh" to me. -

why were we going to root for the brewers? and aside from zambrano's inconsistency, i'm not sure what really sucks about a 9 game lead with 11 to play.
