  1. yeah the cubs have only 8 baserunners in 4.1 innings against suppan and a bunch of hard-hit outs. it's gonna be a short october for our boys.
  2. So when Ohio State pounds Penn State in The Shoe, we will be added to that list? i see that the usc asswhipping and repeated embarrassments at the hands of the sec haven't made ohio state fans any less arrogant.
  3. quite a battle at the bottom between new mexico st., vandy and northwestern.
  4. Teams that are now better than USC, either directly or by the transitive property of college football: Oregon St. Stanford (beat Oregon St.) Penn St. (beat Oregon St.) TCU (beat Stanford, who beat Oregon St., who beat USC) Arizona St. (beat Stanford, who beat Oregon St., who beat USC) Georgia (beat Arizona St., who beat Stanford, who beat Oregon St., who beat USC) UNLV (beat Arizona St., who beat Stanford, who beat Oregon St., who beat USC) Utah (beat UNLV, who beat Arizona St., who beat Stanford, who beat Oregon St., who beat USC) unfortunately that's as far as the chain goes, at least right now.
  5. yeah because the big xii has always been wall-to-wall tough. i liked those years when ou would beat one good team (usually texas) and a handful of decent teams (missouri, k-state, nebraska, texas tech). The year Texas won the National Title they beat every team by 30 points in the Big XII and beat Colorado about 14365-3 in the conference championship game. they did beat ohio st on the road, but yeah.... the big xii was down that year fo' sho'.
  6. ...U-N-O?
  7. Boomer Sooner indeed. LAWL good thing we got to see that joke instead of auburn-usc. i don't know if auburn would've won, but they sure as hell would've done better than losing by 36 points.
  8. well yeah but you guys have always paid better than anyone else. there's a reason the yankees have always been so successful.

  10. i guess we can safely say that penn state is roughly 30 to 40 points better than usc. wonder how many times erin andrews has been groped in the mayhem.
  11. it's more like 0% or undefined since classes start next week.
  12. you take it back too.
  13. is that it? usc has 1 timeout, i think that's it.
  14. take it back
  15. seriously the pac 10 was ripe for the picking, how do you just not show up for this game? oregon state isn't good; they lost to stanford and got completely pantsed by penn state.

  17. 98 yards to paydirt.
  18. why can't we just get a bye to the world series?
  19. son of a bitch
  20. i'm sure umps are the reason the sox can't protect a 5 run lead. big games in the metrodome are awesome; that place can get louder than any other park in baseball, and they really have a home field advantage there.
  21. in 2006 ryan howard struck out 181 times, which isn't far from 200. he had a line of 313/425/659/1084 with 58 homers and 149 rbi. if a guy is putting up numbers like those i could really give a crap if all of his outs come via the strikeout; he's awesome at baseball.
  22. i wonder if guillen will have anything interesting to say after this loss :-))
  23. penn state is a 16.5 point favorite? i'm laying big (centsports) money on illinois.
