wow the eagles just got a gift.... probably a bad muff call on a punt, the falcons couldn't challenge because they were out of timeouts.

man why the crap did reid kick a field goal from the 1 foot line with a 10 point lead? now the falcons are only down 6; if you don't make it there, you're still up 2 scores and they've gotta go 60 yards for a field goal attempt or 99 for a touchdown.

there's the freshman inexperience. they needed less than a yard and he was thinking he could roll around the outside and take off. i don't know what the hell he was looking at though; rubin (the guy that knocked the ball away) was right there. anyway, all he needed was half a yard to keep the drive going and keep the clock running. he'll learn.

Question: Is beating Ole Miss 24-20 at home different than losing to Ole Miss at home 31-30 because of a missed XPT? If you answer anything other than "No" you're [expletive]. Again, Bama isn't better than Florida because Florida missed that extra point. 1. yes, florida has a loss on their schedule and alabama doesn't. 2. plus, believe it or not, the kicking game is part of football, so if you can't make extra points, that actually counts!!! 3. bama was beating ole miss the whole game; florida was trailing two different times in the fourth quarter. 4. even if florida makes the XP, the game is tied, and ole miss has a chance to win it in regulation or in overtime. alabama needed to give up 45 more yards to lose the game. 5. i guess that is my "[expletive]" way of answering something other than "no"

am i missing something? everyone is giving devlin credit for leading a comeback; he threw one pass that resulted in a pass interference call, ran three QB sneaks (one for a TD), and then turned around and handed the ball off a bunch of times. i guess they want to give credit to someone on the winning team, but probably the guy who should lead the story is mark rubin, who knocked the ball out when pryor was coming around the right side. ohio st had all the momentum after we missed a field goal, they had rushed for one first down and looked like they were headed for another. that totally turned the game around and gave the offense a short field to work with. also, how did everyone miss what happened to clark? he got up slowly (though there was a pig pile, that's probably why they figured he got up slowly) and then one of the offensive lineman was holding up two fingers in front of clark's face.

our defense was great against the run but pretty lousy on the pass rush. you aren't going to be able to run a whole lot; wells and the osu o-line are probably better than their iowa counterparts, and we pretty much ate them up. they had a couple of hiccups the last couple of weeks - didn't play very well in the first half tonight or against michigan in the first half. the bye week is good to let clark recover from having his bell rung, and just let the entire team take a week off before refocusing. i think the iowa game is a lot less risk of a hangover with a bye week in between. thanks. i'm glad we can all agree on at least one thing, hating ohio state 8-)

yeah there was one where our left end completely blew past their left guard and he was grabbed, it was on the outside of the line, well away from any other linemen. after they didn't call that one i assumed that there just wouldn't be any holding calls at all.

freshman qb against a very good defense, not exactly a surprise. iowa will still be a test. doesn't happen often but it sure feels good to beat these a-holes.

yeah i decided to go to UT because they were a consensus top 5 team at the beginning of the season. if a lot of texas players leave early for the nfl, you can always transfer to usc.

i don't think texas is on your schedule this year. in other news, washington has 46 total yards about 5 minutes into the 4th quarter :-))
