He can't come back out after halftime and still be starting can he? There's bad and then there's brad. lol, here he comes I was fixing to say Quincy Carter :-), or Drew Henson, Babe Laufenberg. I really wish the Cowboys had gotten Chris Simms in the offseason as the backup. maybe they can get major applewhite to drive up to dallas on sundays.

oakland is getting outgained 221 to 5 this is the first time i can remember that the eagles aren't on locally without the steelers playing at the same time on the same channel. i guess the local Fox affiliate has determined that everyone needs to see the cowboys every week, so that game is on instead of the eagles and seattle.

It's weird - they just lost to the current #3 team and recently beat the #4 team. Where can you rank them that doesn't have some quirk? Can't be in the top 3 and you're not going to drop OU a spot to #5, so you had to know Texas would be below OU in the standings this week. 3 spots might be too many, but I don't see how you can rank them higher than 6th right now. ETA - if you're the AP, I guess you just drop OU 2 spots. Wow. i don't know what i'd do with the rest of the teams up in that area - alabama, penn st, florida, usc, etc. - but i do know that i would have the big xii teams ranked texas tech, texas, oklahoma. that's the only thing that makes sense right now. tech beat texas and texas beat oklahoma, all within the last month. if tech loses to okie st or oklahoma, then it's a free for all, but right now i don't understand how you can put OU above texas.

If there is a 3 way tie where they all have a 1-1 record vs. each other I believe they will end up going to the BCS rankings because all of the other tie breakers will not decide it. edit: There are some other factors but I don't think any of them would come into play. yeah that's a pretty important tiebreaker, because there's still a decent shot that the big xii winner goes to the title game, and one of the big xii teams will get left out of the bcs.

how on earth is oklahoma getting a first place vote? and let's also notice that oklahoma is now three spots higher than a team that beat them on a neutral field three weeks ago.

so let's say that texas and oklahoma win out, meaning that oklahoma gives texas tech a loss... also assume that texas tech wins out otherwise. who goes to the big xii title game?

apparently usc and florida are more than three touchdowns better than oregon st and ole miss, respectively.

actually if texas scores here and then kicks the extra point, and it ends up being a one point longhorn win, then the red raiders should not receive a loss, since the extra point doesn't really count for anything and the game is really tied and going to overtime. man, this is so confusing all close games should just be tossed out, a win is the same as a loss, a loss is the same as a win only blowouts will count in mephball Where do you rank Ball State? unranked mephball only recognizes national powerhouses Ball State's wins are all by 12 or more, mephball digs the blowouts and vaults the Cardinals to #8 yes but mephball also places very high emphasis on speed, athleticism and rivals' star ranking coming out of high school, and ball state fares very poorly in these areas. you're two spots behind washington state.

well they lost by 6 but the touchdown only came with ONE second... i'd still give them the #1/#2 spot hey look at that, a school letting their fans run on the field and celebrate rather than pepper spraying their student body. hopefully penn state was paying attention. pretty sure penn state students weren't pepper sprayed in the stadium, and i'm pretty sure Texas Tech students WILL be pepper sprayed if they go into downtown Lubbock and start pulling over lamp posts and throwing stuff off of balconies pretty sure you're wrong thought you were referring to the kids who were pepper sprayed last weekend post-OSU game no i was referring to the few times in the past that people have tried to run on the field after big penn state wins, only to be pepper sprayed or arrested. that's one of the great traditions of college football/basketball and rather than letting the students who pay hundreds of dollars to go to games celebrate, they treat them like hooligans. it's a joke.
