I think the Cubs should trade him down the line, but who out there who could take over for him at a decent level of production? I could see trading him next offseason if guys like Castro and Barney develop as planned, but trading him now? That'd be an issue, imo. i guess it depends whether you think that blanco could be not-horrible offensively. he'd certainly be well above average with the glove, but at the plate he'd probably be a complete black hole.
