here are a couple of those calls. i remember watching that game and wondering what on earth the refs were doing on that first call. when he was cartwheeled it wasn't like he had a lot of bodies around him; it was really easy to see that the ground called the fumble. then you could easily see in live action that he gathered the non-fumbled ball back into his body. then all of a sudden it's michigan's ball???

What did your signs say? I am watching the recording on my DVR right now. Jon had one sign that got a lot of coverage on ESPNU that said "Northwestern Graduates Earn More $ than an SEC Recruit" and another sign that said "Northwestern Football - 95% Graduation Rate, 100% Ownership of Iowa." The Iowa sign got tweeted about on College Game Day's twitter page. haha yeah the SEC recruit one got tweeted a lot. fine work on both accounts jon. hopefully one or both gets chosen for the gameday sign contest and vance can mobilize some ballot-stuffing. -

thats how most of his goals are scored too. his wrist shot is lightning quick and ridiculously accurate. he puts it exactly where he wants every single time. the lightning would be pretty sick if lecavalier didn't become terrible over the last 3 years also if they had defensemen and goalies who didn't suck.

because he does it constantly when he should worry more about the discipline on his own team. i will also add that the blown calls in penn state's games against iowa and michigan were, along with the msu-michigan clock game, the driving force behind the big ten adding instant replay, which spread to the rest of college football soon after. on behalf of joe paterno, you're welcome.

only once, to bitch about two important calls in overtime, both of which were obviously wrong. not to complain that his team was getting jobbed by penalties. plus pelini does throughout the entire game. he's a complete turd.

yeah my college fb picks are pretty angry at arkansas for blowing it in regulation. i guess it could've been worse after that douchebag fumbled at a time when you absolutely do not want to fumble the ball.

barrett had a .206 babip the year before he came to the cubs... you couldn't have foreseen him hitting as well as he did with us, but you could easily foresee him being significantly better than he was the previous year (that being said, jim hendry probably doesn't not know what babip is)

the problem with chris davis is that he has pretty big holes in his swing and his plate discipline is appalling. michael barrett or even alex gordon don't have those problems to overcome. in 5 years chris davis will be what dallas mcpherson is now.
