    jeez that pitch that willson struck out on was a huge mistake. fastball right down the pipe on 0-2. just swung through it.

    even though he only pitched 11 innings last year, it's kind of jarring to see that opposing batters hit .446 against anderson last year.

    i kind of wish i had seen this show, as it sounds like one of the worst shows ever made: http://www.avclub.com/tvclub/emrobem-67405 i think the worst thing i have ever actually seen was that half hour news hour on fox news, which was supposed to be sort of a conservative daily show or weekend update. if you have not seen it, look up some clips on youtube and try to get through more than a couple of minutes.

    some espn guy says it's believed he was under the influence. i remember he was really shook up when oscar taveras was killed. don't understand how you can lose a close friend to drunk driving and then go out and do it yourself.

    that's a nice haul for the white sox. good move trading sale this offseason with some teams desperate for SP and the free agent market really weak.

    chris carter probably would have been a pretty rich man in the era before WAR came along. instead he's cut loose after hitting 41 dongs because he can't really do much besides dong, and the brewers decided he wasn't worth $8-10m for another year of that.
