i'm pretty sure that the nationals are trying to keep the cubs out of the playoffs, that's the only explanation for starting edwin jackson in a major league baseball game.

i don't know who the hell luke voit is so this is terrifying. if it was a real hitter then i'd be more confident.

diamondbacks is a terrible answer. they're obviously not going to win the division, which cuts down on their chances big time.

something about paul de jong's 4 bb/55 k ratio tells me that he's not going to be able to keep this up for very long.

i'm always baffled when i look up grichuk's overall numbers considering that he puts up mike trout numbers when he plays against the cubs.

I've seen the 4th OF tag applied to him a couple times but I have him in the back of the top 10 for sure. future 4th OF would probably qualify as top 10 in one of the worst systems in baseball.

aramis ademan hit his 4th home run for eugene. he's hitting well, with a .279/.348/.434/.783 line coming into tonight. all of this is great news, because he's only 18 and it would make me really happy to have another aramis on the cubs. ian rice hit two home runs and may be our best prospect at this point. -
zobrist should not be allowed to play his wife's crappy song as his walk-up music until he starts hitting better.
