Yeah, but at least in '03 and '04 the Cubs were interesting for the entire year. I mean last year, what the hell was there to root for after the middle of May? The team was a joke, the manager and GM were a joke, there weren't a lot of exciting young players... really, the last three months of the year I rarely paid attention except when Rich Hill was on the mound. I love baseball, and the longer I can stay interested in the season, the better. Hell, if I were a Red Sox, Yankees or Braves fan I'd be interested through September almost every year. With the Cubs, you're to be in the race one out of every five. It's embarrassing and pathetic.
