What do you feel about living in a cold snowy winter area?

I love it - New York doesn't get the snow that Chicago does - one of the many things I miss about home.

You're half an hour from places that get more snow (chicago gets less snow than any place upstate)

I both love it and love the change of seasons.

Not to mention the idiot California drivers who can't handle rain, mist, or even darkness without slowing the already abysmal traffic down even more (I just moved out to L.A., and my job requires me to drive all over the city; coming from a guy who grew up driving around the mountains of western North Carolina, it's completely ridiculous).

I don't like it at all. Needless to say, lately I've been searching listings for places in warm climates, though I do love Chicago in the spring and summer. I guess that's the only reason I continue to suffer through the winter.
