You'd think since there are entire networks devoted to golf and auto racing, there ought to be a baseball network. I surmise the reason we haven't seen it yet is $$$, perhaps it would cut into MLB's licensing fees or violate the agreements that baseball has with existing networks.

They've got satellite radio channel. The NFL has there own channel..When is MLB going to get a cable channel?

The NFL channel has everything but actual games

The NFL Network is awesome. It would be a very wise move if the MLB put together a similar type channel. And the NFL Network does have an hour long recap of the best game every week. They often fill time each day showing the games of the week from past seasons.

Even a baseball On-Demand channel would be good..

That would be much better. I would be willing to pay $3-$5 a game if I can just watch them when I want/when I can instead of shelling out $150 for EI and missing half the games

I think you can download baseball games for like 2 bucks on mlb.com.

Not only that, but with MLB.tv ($15 a month?), you can watch games from the last two years whenever you want. Which isn't wonderfully exciting, but I'm working my way through the 2004 season slowly.

Cubs are tied for the Wild Card! Don't tell me how it ends!
